One of my professors said I should get into the habit of writing a journal. He said it might come in handy one day when I graduate. Not quite sure exactly what he meant by that, but Shaley said she agreed, so I went ahead and bought one. Not really sure what to write in here though. Shaley says I should write personal stuff, but I don't really see the point. Guess I'll figure out what to write here eventually."

She said yes! I feel like the happiest guy in the world right now! After spending 8 years of our lives so close together, I still can't believe she accepted my proposal. Shaley has been my closest friend since 9th grade, and knowing that she'll be there with me for the rest of my life makes all the work we've put in to get here worth it. We plan to go on our honeymoon, then apply for a job with the Canterlot College Archeology Department. Shaley told me that they love taking in new archeologists to help them get experience before they go off to a more specialized team. From there, we'll just have to see how things turn out."

We've decided to have a small wedding. Just a few friends and close family. Shaley's mother is a professional baker, and she's offered to bake the cake for us. My uncle is coming out of retirement just to play the organ at the wedding. Not many people can say they had a pianist from the Canterlot Orchestral Symphony playing at their wedding. I'm incredibly grateful that so many of our family members and friends are pitching in to help make our day special. I hope I can repay their kindness one day."

Our old World History teacher told us about a unique honeymoon destination. Apparently, there's the ruins of a large city somewhere in the Frozen North. He said that nobody really explores them because the few teams that have gone have basically seen everything it has to offer. We talked with a few other professors about it, and they encouraged us to go. I'm a bit skeptical, but Shaley is excited to get to explore ruins on our own for the first time. I said that we should bring along some sort of guide, but Shaely is determined that we do this on our own. Ah well. I know better than to stand between her, and a challenge. Who knows? Maybe we'll find something new there." #rp
