As she contemplated, she felt just like she was back in her room— calculating, adjusting, erasing. She did what she always did when she was hitting a wall, too. She fell backwards onto her bed.
Except. She wasn't on her bed. She was sitting on a fountain. Instead of a soft bounce, she was met with a frigid splash as she soaked herself through. A panicked flail of her legs caught her back up fully.
Everyone was looking at her. She wanted to cry.
