Since he i... View MoreThe Suffering of Dr.Reiner - Anger {Depictions of extreme injury. Hopelessness.} Reiner would be in the hospital after children had beaten him senseless. The kids had smashed his left leg. Since he is a small diamond, he didn't take much to give way. After falling, they had taken his paws and stomped on them backward. Resulting in his arms being bent backwards which caused his bones to snap in half. They then jumped on his body repeatedly for roughly ten or fifteen minutes before being abandoned by them to die. This caused his organs to be damaged as well as his ribs being nearly crushed to dust. They say he may never walk again after surgery. The kids were captured and are being tried as adults for attempted murder. Reiner would have his lip quiver as if he were about to cry from pure frustration. He was stuck due to being in a full-body cast. "...This sucks... No... This... This FUCKING sucks." He would grind his teeth in anger. "Why? Why do I have to be the little one?" Thomas would have come in as he would give a terrified look. "Reiner... Reiner, my baby boy." He would have come over and would pull a chair next to Reiner's bed. What? Was this a sick joke? How is he seeing... "Thomas. Dad...!" Tears would swell up in his eyes as he said, "I...I'm a failure...! I can't even touch these kids' hearts... I-..." Reiner would have grit his teeth and looked away. "I'm sorry, dad." Reiner wo Thomas would frown and touch the top of his head with a soft smile. Despite his imperfections, Reiner has never seen such a beautiful man. He was practically glowing love. Thomas would rub his bandaged head. "Please. Don't be sorry for being exceptional, Gene. My boy can never do me wrong." He would gently wipe Reiners tears. "You are everything I ever hoped you could be, My baby boy. Oh, here I go now." He would wipe his own eyes. "You know how I am. Emotional. Not of your state but of how truly proud I am of you." He would put his forehead gently on Reiner's head. Reiner blushed and quivered his lip before bawling his eyes out. As if pressure was finally being released. How long has it been? How long has it been since he had felt his father's warmth? It was like they were connected, their hearts beat as one. Two broken hearts. Once lost, finally found. This is why I am angry. I am angry that many kids may not get to feel this again. I am angry those kids will never get the support they truly need. Is this what it is like? Anger? Yes... I am angry. I fear. I hurt. I am angry. "Please. Save me." Reiner would whisper sadly to Thomas. Thomas would grit his teeth and tears would well up. "It's time... I need... To touch their hearts, Dad. Just as you hold mine. How...? How do I do it?" Reiner would look up at Thomas with anticipation in his healing eyes. The pain... The desperation... It was there. "You get angry. That is how you touch their hearts. Get angry. Fight for them, Reiner. This pain...? It is only the start. Prepare yourself. Never give up, if not for yourself then for them. Understood? Get pissed." He would give an angry look. "And use that anger and channel it into something unique to you." He would gently point to his head. "If you control this... You will control your destiny. This will allow you to love them. Get angry when they cannot. Be happy when they cannot. Love them when no one else will and then... Truly can one feel included. Special. We all wish to feel special, especially these impressionable kids." Thomas would smile and say, " I love you, son. Never forget that. I am angry and will do everything in my power to get your back to me at nothing more than a full recovery. "Yes, Dad. I love you too." He would give a slight smile.
