View MoreObsilion pants heavily, sweat dripping from his brow as he stood in a defensive stance. Judging from all of the cuts and bruises on his body, his slightly torn gym shorts, and the small amount of destruction in the forest cleaing around him, Obsilion was fighting something. With that being said, these observations would leave one to question what Obsilion was fighting. The interesting thing is that there is no one else in the clearing with him. There is no one and nothing there for him to fight, yet he has suffered a few minor injuries. He also appears to be getting ready to fight again. So that leaves one to ask two questions. Who/what was he fight? Who/what is he getting ready to fight. Any well experienced warrior would be able to tell exactly what Obsilion is doing and what had happened. Obsilion is shadow boxing, but because he is telekinetic and telepathic (in rare cases), the affects of his mind can become a bit more real. His imaginary opponent can actually hurt him, and in an extremely case the opponent can actually take a spiritual form. In other words, this form of shadow boxing not only allows him to sharpen his skills, but in an odd way it also helps strengthen his mind. Judging by the looks of things, Obsilion has been fighting for a while now. Now he is trying to conjure up a new opponent. More than likely something or someone stronger than his last opponent. What came next would actually be a surprise to Obsilion. Obsilion's next opponent happened to be someone he knows. The problem is that he was thinking of fighting this person. He was shocked that this person was conjured since he wasnt even imagining them. The opponent that was confured up a few feet in front of Obsilion was none other than the night in the flesh. It was King Artemis. It takes a moment for Obsilion to snap out of his shock. Immediately after snapping out of his, he tries to stop everything that was happening. He works quick to clear his mind and end his shadow boxing session. The problem was that nothing would work since it wasnt his mind that conjured up his new opponent. It was his instincts. To explain this, there was a fighting style that Obsilion had came up with and worked hard to master. He ended up mastering it when he fought his daughter. This fighting style is an instinct-based fighting style. It calls for sacrificing your entire being to your instincts control, taking full advantage of a natural and universal sixth sense that all creatures have. This in turn strengthens your instincts reliability to the point where this fighting style is especially useful when one is asleep. Because Obsilion's instincts happen to be this strong, that took over his shadow boxing match. For what reason his instincts would act in such a way is a complete mystery to Obsilion himself. After realizing this is the work of his own instincts he would shake his head frantically while staring at his friend. "....No. No no no. I refuse. I'm not fighting you." In response to this, the spectral Artemis would suddenly fire a powerful blast of magic from his horn at Obsilion. Obsilion would barely dodge it in time, but at the moment he dodged it the spectral Artemis wold already be right next to him. Once this happened, the spectral Artemis would deliver a devastating kick to Obsilion's face. This kick sends Obsilion flying into the forest and into a tree, which in turn puts a dent it the tree. Obsilion is now in a daze, his nose bleeding heavily as he struggles to get up. "D-damn...That almost..knocked me out...That really hurt.." The spectral Artemis would already be nearby, walking as he makes his way towards Obsilion. Once he was just several feet away from Obsilion, he would fire another powerful beam at him. At that moment, Obsilion did some quick thinking. Obsilion would combine his telekinesis and carbon powers to shake his carbon molecules. The moment the beam his him, Obsilion would disappear in a subtle puff of smoke. He would then appear almost instantly next to the spectral Artemis, delivering an unexpected viper strike to a pressure point in the spectral Artemis's neck. The would paralyze the spectral Artemis and cause him to fall over. Obsilion would growl slightly as he stared down at the spectral version of his friend. "....I said..I'm not fighting you..." The spectral Artemis huffs slightly before disappearing. The damage in the area was very much real. More real than would it should've been. Obsilion wasnt sure what to do at this moment. He was shocked and worried. Was this some sort of warning? ".....Dusk?" Obsilion would speak out loud. Dusk would appear next to him a moment later. "...Yeah..I saw it..That wasnt supposed to happen was it?" She would as she gave him a worried look. Obsilion shake his head. "It wasnt.....Maybe I should go talk to Artemis...I wanted to wait and give him time to relax and not have to deal with me...Maybe I shouldn't wait...I need to talk to him...I need to make things right.." Dusk nods slowly. "We will save business for later..It will be ok, love....And if things go wrong, I will be here for you..I love you, ok?" She tells him, giving him a soft smile to try and make him feel better. Obsilion would nod a little. "...Ok..."

With a slight shiver and smack of the neck, Artemis would take a few seconds in recovering his brain power from the slight startle. Currently he was doing late night reading in his office. The boring kind of reading of course. Nothing can ever be fun for the Future King. Not lately. That strange feeling seemed to throw him off for a second however. So much so that his own Nightmare Spirit seemed to look in concern for a moment. "It's nothing. Just some sort of ghost pain. Perhaps I was mentioned somewhere for something." He explained. "I'm not sure if I should be offended by terms such as Ghost Pains, but I'll ignore it for now. What I'm not going to ignore is why you're still up? Don't you got dreams to watch over? Also a beautiful wife to have yourself almost squeezed to death by during both of you two's sleep? The hell are you even reading?" Nightmare asked in curiosity as he tried to observe the book. Only for it to close on him. "Trade secrets from King Astra. The only stallion in this world of living or dead that was the most gifted of Arcane usage. Even more so then me. My Father was a mastermind of all things Arcane, as am I. The difference is? He refused to use you. Where as? Me and you are contracted to work together." "And is that so bad? Because of our teamwork, we are thriving in this world. Thriving and adapting where most in our position are used or snubbed out. Be more grateful of our relationship. I'm happy to serve you as a Spirit. As is my curse. And I don't mean it in a bad way." Spoke the Nightmare Spirit with a smirk of acceptance. "Yeah, yeah. I care for ya too. After all, if you go? I go. And if I go? Well....I don't think I've had a son yet. So...you'll cease to exist with no host. Unless...you pass down to Lilith. But, we aren't sure if that's possible yet." "So morbid. Speaking of your end so carefree. That's what being alive for over a thousand years will do to you. You got a lot to accomplish still. Raise a family and be King. Talks of your final days shouldn't be a topic brought up. In fact? Switching topics. Now about Obsilion...." "We aren't eliminating, nor are we taking the side of this mysterious group which so happens to have recruited his daughter. We have our own agendas and goals. Goals that will be seen through. Goals that'll help us adapt to this....strange circumstance we keep ping ponging between. As far as Obsilion goes? I really don't think he's the culprit of all this strangeness. If anything? He's probably a victim. As for the strange organization? I can't trust them enough to throw them far. Not yet. The smart play? Stay out of their way. Let them deal with things. I'm sure both of them will find each other. In the meantime? We keep collecting~ And speaking of collecting? I got a maid's dreams to pry into soon. And by me? I mean our wife~" Spoke the Future King as a smile graced his lips. "Now leave me, while I wrap up here." He asked of Nightmare. "Of course. Just remember. Through good or evil? I'll always be on your side~" Was Nightmare's final words as he disappeared.
