View MoreKnight walked down the stairs of his castle entrance with Obsilion and Others /Sylvia by his right side and General Autumn on his left. His armor rattled as he took each step down, on both sides where the many soldiers who were ready to depart with him. It all felt so slow as he walked in between them, all of them looked at him, with determined looks, but fear was not absent, many of them know how dangerous this peril is, and many spent the night with those they love saying their last goodbyes. He was in no rush, and he did not want to rush those who were still saying their goodbyes, he walked into empire streets that he was so proud of with a parade of soldiers following him, as he passed the shops and homes he saw many of his people cheering them in both pride and sorrow, they knew the necessity of this campaign, and they also knew the price it would cost, as he walked by the soldiers still in their homes kissed their families one last time before joining in the parade behind him. The sun was now peaking over the horizon as he was halfway through the empire, every goodbye he witnessed weighed heavily on his heart, he knew that months from now even he may now return to walk these very streets, and many of those behind him will also be missing, alas.. they will be returning in boxes if they are to return at all, the faces of the wives and children burn into his heart as they look at him in hopes that he will keep those they love alive, his chest burns as he knows he will fail many of them. The streets are now filled with the citizens of Monros, all cheering and crying their hearts out, encouraging them and giving them strength with their words, Knight leads the army through the empire, he leads them to the largest rivers that run through the empire and from there takes boats out to the ocean where the large ships they have constructed await them. At the river there is a stand next to the first boat awaiting to take them away. Knight stops before the stand and breathes deeply, he has to go up there and tell them all something encouraging, something to raise moral.. but his heart is heavy and his soul shakes, once again he will lead thousands into battles, and cause death to even more.. he takes a second to breathe and calm himself.
