Trap the snail in a box and bury it in a graveyard. After spraypainting 'IKU' on it's shell, of course, so if anyone digs it up and it finds me again I can recognize it.

Move to Sweden ez. Snails love about 0.003 mph according to Google. Sweden is ~5k miles from where I am.
