All wrapped up in a nice plate of losing sanity. Marvelous is the Kingdom that you'll be ruling isn't it? Not a day goes by that could described as boring!" "Your attempts of truthful excitement mixed with sarcasm is not lost on me, Nightmare. If anything? It's causing me a headache. Indeed the Kingdom is nothing short of constant chaos. Certainly chaos seems to follow us. All that's missing is the company of Eris. But let's not will such a possibility into existence." Inside the throne room of Canterlot castle, The Future King, Artemis, was mentally going through a list of recent events. Nightmare's sarcastic summary of everything was short and effective. Artifacts, Boxes, Spirits, and Spears. All these things were present on the mental plate of Artemis. And he was becoming too full to keep dealing with all of this. Such is the sacrifice for Royal Ruling. And speaking of Ruling. "My crowning of King along side my Queen is merely a month away. I can't be taking chances of more trouble brewing. As soon as my coronation and title as King is official? I'll have a lot of powerful individuals wanting my attention. Attention I rather not give as I'm still focused on achieving an ultimate goal." "Ultimate goal, yes. But....really? What is the current goal? Your title as King approaches. Soon....you'll have all the power you've ever desired. Quite an achievement in breaking these Nobles to accept you~ Your...questionable methods show character. Still...after being King? What then? Still striving for the last two Artifacts?" Was the question asked by the Future King's Nightmare Spirit. Indeed what was the ultimate goal? Surely more then just being King. No, that's never enough. For what Artemis will always strive is much simpler then that. Harder to achieve each time he steps closer. More Power. "For now our focus in on the two artifacts we still need to find. I'd prefer we focus on finding that lantern. Which means...we gotta speak with that maid of ours.." "And what of the box and the spear? It seems we've both underestimated how much trouble those things have caused. Those have to form a stage of priority." Nightmare interjected. Artemis in turn seemed to grow a wicked grin across his face, his eyes glowing ever so subtly. "Nightmare. Let's not look past what we are. Lord of Darkness. Master of all things Arcane. No matter the trouble we face? The box? The Spear?....Politics? A Changeling Queen? A rather intriguing Obsilion? A ever growing range of powerful spirits? We simply do what we've always done. Adapt."
