I am seriously hoping this is a troll post. Surely if you are old enough to know how to use a computer, type and read I'm going to assume you have some schooling under your belt, which would include (I would hope) basic Earth and Space science. As a literate human being, I would sincerely hope you know why, and how the moon is where it is and it's effect it has on the earth itself.
The moon is there for us to appreciate her. <3
