Since today is mother's day I decided to make some art of Tetra since Twilight is like a mother to her. This is something of an AU I've been trying to come up with where Tetra is the 'main character'.
Here are the little stories I wrote to go with each of the pictures:
The picture with Tetra and Pinkie:
Today was no ordinary day in Equestria; it was Mother's Day, a time to celebrate the nurturing love and guidance of those who cared for others as mothers did. For Tetra, there was no pony more deserving of recognition and appreciation than Twilight Sparkle, the lavender alicorn who had opened her heart and her home to her.
"Tetra, are you ready to whip up something extra special for Twilight?" Pinkie's cheerful voice bubbled with excitement, her pink curls bouncing with each movement.
Tetra nodded eagerly, her sharp teeth forming a determined smile. "Yes, Pinkie! I want to make something perfect for Twilight! She's been like a mother to me and I want to make her something special!"
Pinkie's eyes softened with understanding. "Of course, Tetra. Twilight's always been there for everypony, especially those who need it most. Let's make this the best Mother's Day surprise ever!"
With Pinkie's guidance, the duo set to work, their hooves and fins dancing in harmony as they measured and mixed the ingredients with precision. Tetra marveled at Pinkie's skill, her own heart swelling with gratitude for the chance to learn from such a master baker.
As the cake emerged from the oven, golden and fragrant, Tetra's excitement reached a fever pitch. This was her chance to show Twilight just how much she meant to her. With Pinkie's encouragement, she picked up the piping bag, her hooves trembling with nervous energy.
Carefully, Tetra began to decorate the cake, her lavender mane swaying as she focused on each stroke of icing. She tried to write "Happy Mother's Day" in delicate script, but her letters came out uneven and wobbly.
Pinkie beamed encouragingly. "Looking food, Tetra! Remember, it's the love you put into it that counts."
With renewed determination, Tetra continued, attempting to draw a picture of herself and twilight with icing. But despite her best efforts, the figures appeared clumsy and disproportionate.
Tetra's heart sank, disappointment flooding her thoughts. She had wanted everything to be perfect for Twilight, but now it seemed her efforts had fallen short.
Pinkie, ever the optimist, wrapped a comforting hoof around Tetra's shoulder. "Hey, don't worry about it! Twilight will love whatever you make because it's from you. Besides imperfections make it unique, just like you!"
Tetra blinked back tears of frustration, her gaze drawn to the imperfect cake before her. Pinkie was right. Twilight had accepted her flaws and all, showing her kindness and understanding when she needed it most. Perhaps, in her own imperfect way, this cake was the perfect reflection of their bond.
With a determined smile, Tetra nodded, her heart lighter with resolve. Together, she and Pinkie put the finishing touches on the cake, sprinkling it with love and gratitude.
As they admired their handiwork, Tetra felt a swell of pride in her chest. It might not have been the most elegant cake, but it was made with love, and that was all that mattered.
As the clock struck noon, Tetra and Pinkie carried the cake out of the kitchen, their laughter echoing through Sugarcube Corner. Today was a day to celebrate motherhood, and with Pinkie by her side, Tetra knew it was going to be a Mother's Day to remember.

The picture with Tetra and Twilight:
With the freshly decorated cake carefully balanced on a tray between them, Tetra and Pinkie Pie made their way through the winding halls of Twilight Sparkle's majestic castle. Tetra's heart fluttered with nervous excitement as the approached their destination, the dining room where they would present their creation to Twilight.
As they entered the spacious room, Tetra's gaze swept over the elegant furnishings and the long dining table adorned with colorful flowers. The castle felt quiet and serene, a stark contrast to the bustling energy of Sugarcube Corner.
Pinkie placed the tray on the table with a flourish, her eyes sparkling with anticipation. "Alrighty, Tetra! The cake's all set. Now I'll go find Twilight and bring her here. You stay right here with the cake, okay?"
Tetra nodded, her fins twitching with nerves. "O-Okay, Pinkie. Thank you so much for helping me today!"
With a reassuring smile, Pinkie dashed out of the room, leaving Tetra alone with her thoughts and the tantalizing aroma of the cake filling the air.
Alone in the grandeur of the dining room, Tetra's mind raced with memories of her time in Ponyville and the kindness Twilight had shown her since their first meeting on the beach. She remembered the way Twilight reached out to her, offering friendship and understanding when others saw only a monster. It was Twilight who had taught her that acceptance and love knew no bounds, and Tetra was determined to show her gratitude in return.
As she waited for Pinkie to return with Twilight, Tetra's gaze drifted to the cake sitting proudly on the table. Despite its imperfect decorations, it radiated with warmth and affection, a testament to the bond she shared with Twilight and the friendships she had forged in Ponyville.
Minutes ticked by, each one feeling like an eternity as Tetra anxiously awaited Twilight's arrival. But just as doubt began to creep into her mind, the sound of hoofsteps echoed through the hallway outside.
With a burst of excitement, Tetra's heart leaped in her chest as Pinkie Pie burst into the room, Twilight Sparkle following closely behind.
"Tetra!" Twilight's eyes lit up with delight as she took in the scene before her. "What's all this?"
Tetra took in a deep breath, her nerves melting away in the warmth of Twilight's smile. "Happy Mother's Day, Twilight!" She exclaimed, gesturing to the cake with a proud grin. "Pinkie helped me make it for you. I wanted to show you how much you mean to me."
Twilight's expression softened, her gaze flickering with emotion as she approached the table. "Oh, Tetra," she murmured, her voice filled with tenderness. "Thank you, this means the world to me."
With a gentle touch, Twilight lifted the lid of the cake, revealing its imperfect yet heartfelt decorations. Tetra held her breath, her pulse racing as she awaited Twilight's reaction.
But to her relief and joy, Twilight's eyes shimmered with tears as she beheld the cake before her. "It's perfect," she whispered, her voice catching in her throat. "Absolutely perfect."
In that moment, surrounded by friends and love, Tetra knew that she had found her pace in Ponyville, a world where acceptance and kindness flourished, and where everypony had a chance to belong.
As they shared slices of cake Tetra felt a sense of gratitude wash over her, knowing that she was exactly where she was meant to be -- in the warm embrace of friendship and family, with Twilight Sparkle by her side.
