Detailed History

Before Moonlight was born, valuable resources were continuously stolen from the Kingdom of Underworld. When her mother, a unicorn who could randomly see the future, fell pregnant with her, it was announced to the kingdom. A group called Tenebrosus Angeli, the main culprits in the thievery of her home, heard this and started to plan to steal the new royal as soon as they were born.

When her mother, a unicorn who could randomly see the future, fell pregnant with her, it was announced to the kingdom. A group called Tenebrosus Angeli, the main culprits in the thievery of her home, heard this and started to plan to steal the new royal as soon as they were born.

When Moonlight Shadow was born (as an alicorn) everyone was happy; until there was a loud explosion in the castle. The General of the army yelled that they were under attack. The King, an alicorn/god named Death, ran out to help his army defend his family and kingdom. The queen had given Moonlight to a unicorn who had helped her and told her to take her daughter and keep her safe. No one has heard from the queen since she was kidnapped, or the Tenebrosus Angeli.

As soon as her father discovered his queen was gone, he sought the help of Princess Celestia to help hide his kingdom away. Celestia agreed but told him he could never leave the kingdom, or the spell would end. Once the spell was complete it became known as The Separating.

Moonlight grow up under the care of the whole kingdom. She practised her magic under the gaze of the most powerful sorcerers, played many games of hid n seek (becoming really good at hiding and finding), took flying classes, played many sports, and helped the kingdom anyway she could. Many people quickly wanted to start] to giving her different challenges. Her father soon taught her to accept any challenge, even if it looks hopeless, for there might always be a chance to win. And if she lost, accept it politely.

When she turned 130, she learned she could talk to and control the dead. Her father helped her learn to control this ability but when Moonlight experiences extreme emotion, she loses control. When she turned 900, her father told her that on her 1,000th birthday she would journey to Equestria (she had been reading all of the books in the kingdom about the outside world) and inform them if it was safe to bring down the barrier that hid the kingdom. He wished he didn’t have to send her, but she was the only one who could cross the barrier with her god blood.

When she turned 1,000, she discovered she could turn into a ghost and gain their abilities like invisibility, phasing through the wall, etc. She left her home after her father gave her a quick rundown of her new ability. He handed her a silver crescent moon necklace and told her five things.

1. Always hid your wings

2. The Tenebrosus Angeli might still be around and looking for her

3. She could come back and forth from the kingdom

4. Princess Celestia would help her anyway so she could make friends

5. She could use the necklace to contact him on full moon nights

After she left, she was ambushed by the Tenebrosus Angeli in the Everfree Forest. After escaping due to her new ability, she teleported straight to the castle. She was greeted by four princesses. The quickly helped her adapt and she started to move around and meet new people. She has since been ambushed by the Tenebrosus Angeli four more times.
