Curie spent most of her foalhood with her mother in an independent city miles away from Equestria. The city she grew up in was a rather large city full of scientists and inventors who were looking to be free from any government, so they could study and create freely without having to worry about rules or regulations. The city she grew up in was a rather large city full of scientists and inventors who were looking to be free from any government, so they could study and create freely without having to worry about rules or regulations. It was full of all sorts of machines and inventions, which made it stand out from almost any city in the entire world. For Curie's mother, it was the perfect place to live. Curie's mother was a scientist who was quite passionate about her work, so living in a city where she could study or work on any project she wished was a dream come true. However, it simply wasn't a place to raise a foal. Curie wasn't like her mother. She didn't enjoy science or inventing much at all. She didn't care about how the world worked on a molecular level, she was more interested in experiencing the world and having fun. She always ended up sneaking out to go adventuring when she was little. Once she was old enough, she began to keep record of all the new things she experienced in a journal, which had sparked her love for writing. One day Curie decided to sneak out of their home to go on a little adventure, and her mother hadn't noticed due to being too preoccupied with her experiments. While Curie was out, she had caused enough damage in the city for the neighbors to all take notice. They ended up catching her and dragging her back to her mom. Curie's mom told Curie to go to her room while she discussed things with the members of the city. Curie didn't fully understand what they had discussed, but the next thing she remembered was her mom bursting in the room with tears in her eyes, hugging her tightly.

It turned out that the people of the city had enough with the young girl shenanigans, and demanded them to leave the city at once. Of course, her mother wasn't about ready to give up on her dreams and aspirations, so in the end she decided with a heavy heart it was time for Curie to go and live with her father. Her mother explained to her that a city like that simply wasn't meant for a filly like her, and although her momma loved her, she had to leave. She explained to her that she deserved to have a parent who would have time for her, and took her on adventures. Not a mother who was too busy working to even realize her daughter had left for almost a whole day. Curie was too young to fully understand, but she had no choice but to listen to her mother. Curie hadn't even known she had a father at all. She had always assumed her mother had created her in her lab one day, or perhaps she was delivered to her door step. She had never met any other young fillies like herself in that city, so she didn't even know that it wasn't uncommon to have a father. However, her mother was very clear that she in fact had a father, and she had ran away from him before she had given birth to her. Apparently her father didn't even know she existed. She was rather mad upon first hearing about that, but her mother told her not to blame her father, and that it was her fault for running away, and that her father didn't have a chance to meet her. After hours of crying and hugging eachother, a group of strange stallions in armor had come to get her to take her to her father.

The young filly tried her best not to cry as the guards escorted her to a carriage. She had expected to lose her composure and begin crying the moment she entered the carriage, however as the carriage doors opened she layed eyes on one of the most beautiful pony she had ever layed eyes on. She didn't remember her name, but she remembered the beautiful mare had spent the whole trip making her laugh and cheering her up. If it weren't for that strange mare treating her so kindly, she would've remember that day with far more sadness. She was once again sad when the carriage had arrived to its final destination at her new home, as she was forced to say goodbye to her new found friend. The mare had promised to come and visit to play later though, so she ended up leaving the carriage happy and full of hope she would see her new friend again. Of course, the beautiful mare had only told her that to keep her happy, but being the hopeful young filly she was, she didn't know any better.

Curie was rather nervous to meet the stallion who she had only recently learned was her father at first, but upon seeing the rather large manor he had lived in, as well as the lake it was next too seemed like a dream come true for a little filly like her. In reality the manor was nowhere the size of a mansion or a castle, but to a little filly like her it was a mansion! In fact, it made her feel like she was secretly a princess and she was about to meet the king! Before she had a chance to explore or play in her knew home, her father had rushed over to her and swepped her in his arms. She was scared at first, but something about the stallion felt warm and comforting. The hug made her feel like she was missing out on something her whole life.

From that day forward, Curie and her father were inseparable. He took her out on adventures, bought her toys and cute clothes, and gave her the love and attention she had never received before in her entire life. Her mother did love her alot, but she always just seemed to busy with her own things, so having a parent so involved in her life was almost alien to her, but alien in a good way. Not only was she getting along really well with her father, she also had a large home to play in. And when she decided to play outside, there was large open fields, unexplored wooded areas, and a large lake to swim in. She was far more happy in her new home, and it was a much better place for her to spend the rest of her foalhood. She continued to live with her father well into her teens.

PRESENT DAY

Curie currently still lives quite happily with her father. She spends most of her time in her room on her laptop writing fantasy novels and sometimes fanfictions of her favorite tv shows. She doesn't live too far away from ponyville, so she occasionally likes to wander around town to meet new ponies or find new adventures to embark in.
