Design Description

Pixel is a fairly chubby red maned earth pony, with unusual pixelated blue markings covering her ears, muzzle and two of her hooves that will over a span of a week have changes into a different pattern though only sticking to those areas, this marks are the main reason for her name change. Her eyes are a intense green. Her left eye has a scar through her eyebrow down to her cheek, there are also two deep scars on her chest that were near fatal and one small one on the right side of her mouth.

Pixel was born with her birth name Graphic Button on October 28th 1995 in Canterlot hospital to Lantana (Mother) & Auteur (Father). Growing up Graphic had a very loving but stern upbringing due to Auteur being an ex-solider before he returned to his job as a writer after loosing his front right hoof. Growing up Graphic had a very loving but stern upbringing due to Auteur being an ex-solider before he returned to his job as a writer after loosing his front right hoof. Despite that the family loved one another dearly & had been very close to each other.

During her younger schooling days, Graphic wasn’t popular & found herself the butt of many of her peer’s jokes & comments. Due to this she found herself staying close to Lantana when she went home & would watch her mother for hours as Lantana made flower arrangements for her flower stall.

By the time Graphic had entered High School her grades had dropped badly & her relationship with her parents had become very strained because of that. It was at this point Pixel began finding it difficult to find the motivation to do anything which just made things worse, her parents felt desperate to help her & ended up getting it very wrong.

It had been late at night during November 12th 2000 at 16 things had really fell apart, earlier that day Graphic had been suspended for punching a mare at school for calling her names. It was during a bad argument over the fact Graphic had punched some pony that Auteur had told her to get out while in the heat of the moment. Instead of helping defuse the situation, Lantana had just stayed out of the way. That had been what really pushed Graphic to do as she was told instead of running to her room to let her father calm down.

It was that same night that Professor Atom Bomb (later to be Dr Atom Bomb) was walking the streets when he found Graphic crying on a bench. It was there he offered a place to stay for the night, Graphic knew it was stupid to agree but she was upset & angry so agreed in hopes it would spite her parents. One night turned to two, then three & so on. Professor Atom Bomb during that time earned Graphic’s trust & had convinced her that her parents no longer want her.

Graphic had stayed with him for nearly a year believing her parents hate her but at least Professor Atom Bomb cared, right?

On October 31st 2001, Graphic found herself in quite the position instead of waking up in her bed she instead found herself waking up in a cell with the sounds of cries & machines. It was there Graphic became Pixel. A years’ worth of tests, examinations, needles all done to her by the stallion she trusted. In that long year Graphic’s appearance had changed her once soft blue eyes had turned green & part of her body had turned into blue pixeled marks. By then end of that year of being a test subject, a blessing had been presented an accident destroying the lab & killing Dr Atom Bomb all at once had left Graphic a free mare again.

After finally being given freedom and her original life taken away from, she became Pixel. G. Button never looked back & built a new life for herself & let the mare that was Graphic Button die with Dr Atom Bomb.

Upon getting everything back on track and finding a life in Ponyville with adventuring and taking security jobs here and there, Pixel met a stallion called Quilted Patchwork. The two fell in love but it didn't last and the relationship went down in flames.
