Echo had went through a few changes since her first few years in Ponyville, Equestria. When she came, she was completely unsure, unfamiliar and lost in Equestria's concrete jungle and modern ages compared to her home of Spar-tail that she hails from. Water magic was the first magic that Echo started learning and studying, but she still haven't gotten that far in it yet, and is now practicing three other types of elemental magic along with water magic.

Water Magic- The very few spells she learned with water magic is to mix water with physical combat and use her win gs to blast large waves of water at her opponents. The other is constructing water into clawed hands and feet on her hooves to use for deadly, lethal and maiming offensive purposes, the next one is using water to heal her wounds and other damages that were inflicted on her. The most recent spell she tried to learn with water magic is called drowning in which she has to make physical contact with another target then she drowns them from the inside out as long as she makes physical contact with them.

Sound Magic- There really aren't a lot of spells Echo learned with this variation of elemental magic which is associated with air/wind magic. The only two spells she is still learning, or have already learned with sound magic is is the spell to literally take another target's voice an d render them completely mute, which is useful for her because this will stop them from alerting anyone else near, keep her from getting caught and more. The second is a spell she calls silencing, which is a spell that makes her hoof steps much more quieter and silent for stealth purposes, but it doesn't do the same for things she accidentally bumps into or knocks over.

Shadow Magic- Somehow, Echo got the hang of a few spells associating the element of darkness very easily, and one of the first spells she learned how to do is shadow camouflage that helps her hid and herself well in dark areas and places, and is also used for stealth purposes. The next one is umbra claws that is basically the same thing as water claws, but with the shadows she can use and construct into claws. With shadow claws, she can literally rip the shadow away from a target's that renders them dead or in a deep dead-like state until the shadow is returned. The results are completely random for now until she learns how to control what she wants the results to be. Using this type of elemental magic comes with a great weakness however because when she comes in contact with bright, strong lights, it can do her harm, weaken her while she haves the magic activated or even knock her unconscious if the light source is powerful enough to do so.

Lightning Magic- With this magic, the only thing she learned how to do with this is generate electricity from her wings to severely over charge any light bulbs or light sources, and making them burst or short circuit in which the lights are officially removed from that general area. This helps her shadow magic since the absence of light makes her shadow magic stronger and keep from any negative effects happening.
