A relatively tall red middle aged pony with a green mane. His face is taut and dark circles hang below his eyes from long nights of study. Wears a blue scholar robe with gold trim, a red sash, and a dark purple hooded cloak.

A regular bookworm. When in his shop, he'll often have his nose in a book and will often seem cranky when someone interrupts said book even if to buy something. Otherwise, he is often slightly reserved, opting more for observation of things rather than conversation though that can change rather fast if he meets someone that shares an interest in the books he likes or displays desire and ability to learn.

Flux grew up in the small town of Ponyville with his single mother to the age of sixteen.
