Breakover Flankinson, or Break, was born in the sunny lands of Appaloosa, Equestria. He is a flaxen chestnut earth pony with cool green eyes and a distinctive blanket appaloosa marking on his coat. Right from the start, Break had a quiet but fierce determination about him.

His parents, Quarter Flankinson, his mother, and Whiteline Flankinson, taught him to work hard. Break spent his younger days exploring the wide-open country, which made him a natural for endurance. He was especially good at races that used racking, a special way of moving that let him cover a lot of ground fast. Break quickly became known for his stamina. His big dream was to compete in the Walker Gauntlet, the biggest endurance race around.

But life took a turn for Break. It wasn't on the race track, but at home, where a cooking accident changed everything. A fire started on the stove, and Break, trying to put it out and protect his family, got a terrible burn on his right front leg. It ruined his leg's ability to work properly.

Still, Breakover wasn't one to give up. His strong spirit, built from years of racing, wouldn't let him quit. While he was recovering, he spent a lot of time watching the farriers who took care of his leg and other injured racehorses. He saw how skilled they were, how much they knew about limbs and legs, and how dedicated they were to helping others heal. It was then that a new idea started to form. He realized that even if he couldn't race, he could still be a part of the racing world.

Break decided to learn everything he could about being a farrier. He studied books, worked with the best hoof experts, and practiced constantly. He even found ways to work around his own injured leg. His own experience with injury gave him a special understanding for the horses he now worked with. And his sharp eye, developed from years of racing, helped him truly understand what each horse needed. Today, Breakover Flankinson is a famous farrier for racehorses. He's a master at what he does, and his steady hooved and never-give-up attitude have helped many champions make it to the finish line.
