Detailed History

Tinker's parents made a decision at the 6 month point (or Equestrian equivalent) into the whole process of having a foal. They Decided that it would be best for the foster care system would be much better than attempting to raise them, there selves. Sure that would be hard for the two, however in the end it was better to do this then attempt to raise a foal on a shoe string budget with no knowledge or experience to work with, that is how Tinker gained her name actually, Her parents had faith that she would find a Inventive solution around her disposition by birth through experience and experimentation. Tinkers Mother was called Sallet Charge and at the time she was a blacksmith in training which got interrupted by Tinkers Development. Her father on the other hand is a wondering Musician who plays the lute. He is only known as Ministerial Note, He of course knows more than the lute but he does not like to work at all, using his lungs to play a clarinet blah that is just stupid in his mind, Oh yes he enjoys playing instruments that just involve playing tones that are slow and mellow. Sallet Charge was a Nervous jittery thing that was in Charge of setting plans for her smithy and although she has a kind nature she comes across angry, rude and always in a hurry, rather its trying to hammer in a helm just in time or grabbing five things at the grocery store, everything must be scheduled and cataloged.

One of the events that lead to there decision to allow the foster care system to deal with the lass as apposed to themselves was the simple fact that after that one night of love and passion they simply realized that they hated each others guts. Ministerial could not keep down a normal job, only making maybe 100 bits a night maybe more. Sallet Tried to help him improve his time by scheduling events and trying to get a name for him but Ministerial saw this patronage as her trying to be money grubby. Sallet would yell and instead of dealing with any issues the two had Ministerial would leave for days at a time. In the end Sallet was too analytically minded and to aggressive for Ministerial and Ministerial was to soft loose and lacked any responsibility for Sallet and raising a foal in that environment when they both cared for her ever so much... was just... torture to think about, oh how she will turn out horribly and how she will resent them if they where to do anything or even attempt this so it was decided that the burden would be passed on to someone else, perhaps Tinker would seem to be special to a new parent looking to adopt as she was to Ministerial the Pegasus and Sallet the unicorn. Tinker once born would be raised at a plentiful of different places, once or twice a year she would get a new foster home, and a new set of foster parents. When she was younger there was Fig's page, followed by Magic Twist and Green Twist whom she enjoyed quite a bit, Pastel colors and Color Theory, so on and so forth, but when she was older it changed a bit. She would stay in the same place for longer although the relationships developed there where not as memorable, the education came but not really felt, and the social interactions that she dealt with lost any sort of pleasure that could exist. When she was younger this constant moving caused her constant pain, she grew attached to these people however the rotation of kids changed with age brackets and well you simply can't chose to raise 20 kids that grew attached to you. Especially when it came to Magic Twist and Green Twist, a couple that did not really care about how late the kids laid awake and often times allowed them to do as they wished as long as the educational needs where met. This would allow Tinker creative freedom, as well as hours of watching the television which she still loves to do today.

The two where also loving but they tried there best to keep the kids at a distance, which Tinker never noticed till she had one heart breaking conversation when it came time to move. Tears where shed at least on Tinkers end, as the two explained they where a half way house a stop not a destination, and they themselves where only baby sitters not parents. This Shattered Tinker internally and for the next several years she went through a stage of depression where she would push people away through aggressive outburst if one where ever to attempt to get close. Soon this constant moving became a event, just a day on the calender as apposed an emotional time of development. Her social interactions where with kids and at first she would play with them but soon Tinker grew bitter and she would rather lay on the couch prop her bum up on some pillows and watch the news rather it was tales of missing dogs to murder which was a point of tension for most of the homes she stayed with, as Tinker would share facts about the deaths of those whom got featured on the box in fact Tinker seemed to focus on death... it was entertainment it fascinated her, The emotional pain others suffered was something that brought a joyful grin to her face. OF course she would not kill anyone or do anything because that's not... entertainment the emotional pain, the betrayal was the entertaining part. This lead to arguments of censorship and simply blocking the channels or a stupid rule of the fact that someone had to watch her which means she could not prop her bum up and use the couch like she wanted to, and Tinker soon learned that if she stopped talking to these 'wardens' as she saw them, She could get away with more, which only further helped her become... repressed in such a manner and eventually lead to her distaste for authority and systems that feel fundamentally broken. As Tinker finished High school and moved to collage she found the transition hard she stuck with it for a good 3 months before she ended up punching the teacher square in the jaw, as a result she lost her financial aid and she lost her home, she barely was able to keep out of prison and this is when her life on the road was started. At first she would just pick pocket as she usually did with foster parents, rather it was nicking keys or something like wallets when she wanted to go out for the night, Tinker was quite adept at the practice already but that did not always work and although she was not caught 90 Percent of the time the 10% of the time where she was, she managed to usually use force to get out of. Some times she would get hit but of course she would hit back and when she hit back she ran away as soon as she could. After a while though pick pocketing would simply not work and soon force was needed to gain what she needed, and eventually she picked up a 3 inch blade and begun taking what she needed at knife point, and even earned the name 'The Skin Deep
