This is a multicharacter account for my 'mane' six characters : Star Catcher (SD), Minty (M), Wysteria (W), Junebug (JB), Sundancer (SD), and Periwinkle (P).

Most of them are based loosely off of the characters of previous gens, re-imagined to fit G4's setting.

Design Description

Star Catcher is a white Pegasus mare, with a tricolor pink white and blue mane. Her wingtips fade softly into the same blue that is present in her mane, and they seem to sparkle slightly in the light. Minty is a mint green Earth Pony mare, with a short two-tone pink mane. Her mane reaches to about the bottom of her jaw, and curls back towards her face before fanning out at the bottom. Her tail has 4 different locks that follow the same trend. Her eyes are a gentle lilac. Her cutie mark is two pink and green peppermints adjacent to each other, one smaller than the other.

Wisteria is a heather purple Unicorn mare, with a long, pale lilac and pink mane. Her mane reaches to her 'elbows', and has large curls at the bottom of each lock with the exception of two that lie just above her left eye. Her tail has 4 different locks, two of which curl out from her body, and 2 of which fan out from the main silhouette. Her eyes are a soft pink. Her cutie mark is 3 different colored flowers (pink, white, and purple) growing from the same vine.

Sundancer is an orange Earth Pony mare with a bicolor purple and blue mane. Her mane is straight and is cut off abruptly at the shoulders, as if somebody cut a straight line through it with scissors. The bottom part of her mane is shorter and curls around her neck, similar to Twilight Sparkle's. Her tail, tied with a bright yellow bow, reaches down to her hocks and is cut the same way as her mane. Her cutie mark is a simple, bright yellow sun with a beach ball rolling next to it. Her eyes are a bright blue.

Junebug is a pale yellow Unicorn mare with a bicolor orange and yellow mane. Her mane is short and curls once towards her face. Her tail is also short and curls towards her body. Her eyes are a lively lime green. Her cutie mark is a swirling orange butterfly pattern, with a squiggly line beneath it as if to imply its pattern of flight.

Periwinkle is a soft blue Pegasus mare with a tricolor purple yellow and light blue mane. Her mane is curly with two different locks growing out of her head in two different directions, and out of her neck grows another two locks that both follow the same silhouette. Her tail curls twice and reaches down to her fetlocks. Her cutie mark is an abstract white and yellow star pattern, with 4 white dots at each 4 of the white points of the star.

Detailed Personality

Star Catcher is a timid mare of many doubts, especially towards ponies of nobility (alicorns and unicorns, namely). Not being powerful enough to take down an alicorn herself, she resigns herself to studying spells in private, earning many a strange look from the local librarian after she's borrowed the 10th book on magic this week. She believes that pegasi, and even earth ponies can perform magic; not just unicorns, and she's determined to prove it somehow. It's a wonder she made any friends in ... View MoreStar Catcher is a timid mare of many doubts, especially towards ponies of nobility (alicorns and unicorns, namely). Not being powerful enough to take down an alicorn herself, she resigns herself to studying spells in private, earning many a strange look from the local librarian after she's borrowed the 10th book on magic this week. She believes that pegasi, and even earth ponies can perform magic; not just unicorns, and she's determined to prove it somehow. It's a wonder she made any friends in Ponyville at all with how much she tends to keep to herself, but after a fateful meeting with an Earth Pony who called herself Minty, she found herself with 5 new friends to share her discoveries with.

Minty is a lighthearted, yet surprisingly knowledgeable mare, always out and about chatting with the many residents of Ponyville. She finds Star Catcher's studies interesting, and her dedication admirable if not a bit troubling at times. Easygoing and extroverted, she has no trouble making friends with even the most difficult of ponies. She enjoys keeping things tidy and organized, and often finds herself cleaning up after others even when it's a bit unnecessary. She makes delicious candy which she sells in her own booth, built for her by Junebug in exchange for butterscotch.

Wisteria works alongside Junebug in her garden using her magic to help plants grow large and healthy, whether it be a beautiful flower or a humble root vegetable. She also takes care of selling the plants to other ponies. She despises getting herself dirty, however, and always wears a ridiculous jumpsuit made of a fabric similar to most raincoats. She can be a bit vain at times, and certainly spends too much time weaving flowers into her mane, but when times are tough, you can always depend on her to have your back. Despite spending most of her time with Junebug, she finds herself enjoying Periwinkle's company more.

Sundancer is an upbeat, tomboyish mare with a bit of a competitive streak. Whether it's racing, sports, or pie eating, if there's a bit prize involved she'll be there. When she isn't entering various competitions, she likes to roller-skate, surf, and play volley ball with her friends. She loves getting her hooves dirty, and jumps at the opportunity to help Junebug with her garden whenever possible.

Junebug is softspoken, humble and hardworking, though she becomes much rowdier when her friend Sundancer is around. She works in a large garden with Wisteria, doing most of the planting and pest control, or generally 'dirty' jobs. She doesn't really mind, though. When she isn't working in the garden with Wisteria, she usually hangs out with Sundancer, playing sports together or just grabbing a milkshake and some hayburgers. She's also a very skilled carpenter, having custom made the sales booths for both herself and Minty's shops.

Periwinkle is a naive mare from high society, sent to Ponyville by her parents to learn more about real life. Growing up having most things taken care of by servants, she found it quite hard to adjust at first, though with the help of her friends she's slowly getting used to life on her own. She works as a librarian's assistant, where she first met Star Catcher and Wisteria; who would soon become her closest friend.
