Celena admittedly didn't come from a 'stable home-life', or at least that's how she viewed it in comparison to the family units she observed out in the world. Celena would be a foster along with her elder brother, passing around from home and leaving her elder brother to be the only stability in her life. Practically having raised her, resulting in Celena to look up to her dear older brother, Astor, who felt neglected having been forced upon a guardian role. He taught her how to play guitar, the first one she felt comfortable enough to perform in front of. By all accounts he was her biggest fan. Through taking care of her every little need and having little time to himself, sadly he soon found himself ending up with him falling into the "wrong crowd", not that he didn't care for or love his little sister Celena. He just was letting out his frustrations having been forced onto a role of a parent/guardian. This soon turned him into an out-of-control delinquent when reaching high-school. Doing the wrong things for the thrill and now carrying himself with a careless attitude towards his life. It ended up costing him time as he soon acquired a record and ended up in prison having accidently killed somepony during a drunken hazy carriage race.

Leaving her by her lonesome in foster care and losing her brother pushed the already strained life of Celena into a downward spiral. She too ended up falling into bad habits to try and fill that missing void that was her brother through partying and alcohol. To the point that she quickly found herself drinking and partying at every opportunity. All of this downward spiral came to the forefront when she ended up becoming pregnant.

The reality of her doings and falling into bad habits that was an addiction that she used to drown her sorrow was now realized. Admittedly there were hiccups along the way, even a slight relapse. Through determination and replacing those bad habits with getting fit, wanting to live a good life and be a good role model for her future son she later named Annular. She started visiting her brother more often in prison and despite her internal scars of the past and the tough life she lived. She strives forward with her taking the plunge for her performances that her brother is very proud of having seen her turn her life around. Having plenty of gigs with a growing audience, through support of her brother she was able to be pushed to be the mainstream media. She finally sought after to make it an actual career.
