Inkwell is a pegasus with a passion for writing. He grew up spending most of his free time with his snout buried in a book and a pencil in his teeth rather than playing with other ponies. He has strong wings, despite his relatively weak frame, an often shaggy and slightly unkempt mane and tail, and generally carried a bag with a camera and notepad at the ready.

His passion for writing manifests itself in his work as a freelance reporter, always on the look out for a story, often unintentionally getting himself involved.On the whole, Inkwell is rather shy and introverted, especially for someone in his profession. Though he'd often prefer to keep his rear safe and out of trouble, Inkwell rarely allows himself to sit idly by if someone is in need, often against his better judgement.

Inkwell grew up in little Ponyville, always with dreams of seeing the world and telling stories of places he'd been. His humble beginnings have stayed, for the most part, humble, though it's been difficult to live a quiet life with how many crazy things had happened across Equestria in the last decade.

Owns a book shop, with locations in Ponyville, Canterlot, and even as far as the Crystal Empire

Exceptionally fast flyer, though his passions lie with writing and history.
