Design Description

Taranling form: A massive 24 foot Tarantula changeling mare, she has an abdomen rather than the usual pony tail with grey stripes accenting it. Her wings aren't torn but more wasp-like than a normal changeling, her coat is somewhat plush especially at the ring of fur around her neck that connects into her mane. Coxa is different depending on who you are to her, much like a mother lion she is the sweetest to her cubs, meaning her hive always comes first, no matter what, if you are an outsider she approaches as a queen of her race would, head high and intimidating, as an enemy my suggestion is if you arent sure of your ability to fight this behemoth of a queen that you run or avoid her. This is just her Cannon, there's a discord for this with me and 60 other Taranlings.

Coxa was born to queen Pedichella, at the time Taranlings were the main ruling force, ponies had yet to come tho the main lands of Equestria, so her species thrived till their arrival. Coxa was born to queen Pedichella, at the time Taranlings were the main ruling force, ponies had yet to come tho the main lands of Equestria, so her species thrived till their arrival. Coxa was fairly young at this time but was Chosen as Queen Pedichella's heir out of her many siblings, this was only after her older brother refused the throne, and seeing as her sister was a step child Pedichella didn't consider her which upset the older ling into bullying and even making attempts at stealing young Coxacora's magic. As time passed Coxa molted growing older, by now ponies had arrived and were pushing there way further into what is now Equestria, now here is where Pedichella comes to play, you see she waas a mother where tough love...was an understatement, opting to use the word tolerate over love even with her heir, Coxacora. Pedichella was a ruthless leader that not only lead her hive, but her rule branched over the other Taranling queens and their hives, she was a beast in battle and in practically all cases, without mercy for any queen who made an attempt to overthrow her. So when ponies started building over their hunting grounds her response was simple..."those who are smaller than us are prey, we care not for the weak and feeble, we feast knowing that it will only make us stronger." Coxa of course fell into line with the rest of the hive to please her mother, but if anything what Coxa did most often was watch them from a distance with a lifelong friend and crush of hers at the time, another young female Taranling named Chelicera.

At that time the two mares would take pony form and walk among them, always excited to learn more of the species, well it was more so Coxa wanted to, she was a bright intelligent mare that loved learning more of anything she could, her curiosity brought her to somewhat of a downfall, when guards came to look for her on one of her little outings it brought the slaughter of the village that she had been exploring, and after this she only was able to leave the hive to hunt with a guard.

As the war started and went on her mother was rarely home, this meant more harassment from her step sister who still desired the throne, though this was often buffered by her older brother. Coxa had reached her third molt, her teen years, Coxa was being prepared for her mothers role, if her mother died Coxa would take her place, and if she didnt die...Coxa would have to fight her to the death for the throne, or submit to her mother. Coxa never expected her time as queen would come as soon as it did, her mother was killed on the battlefield by the king himself, this tossed Coxa's last years of freedom out the window, she was armored up and sent into battle, even ending up laying her first egg on the field. Soon the war was lost, Taranling hives were burned down left and right, so she did the only thing she could for her people, she ran, scooping up ad many Taranling eggs as she could carry in her webbing she ran away to raise them, for many years her and the eggs would lay dormant, until now, she has dug her way back onto land, and is building her hive in hopes to end the reign of the creatures she had once admired, and to bring about a Ling paradise for all changeling races.

Assets / Bits / Property

Coxa's hive is far into the Everfree Forest, she has claimed this place over as her hunting grounds and is raising her hive there, many races are unable to tame the foliage but the strength of Taranling webbing often keeps plants in place under it or keeping them from growing through it. Changing/Different for Taranlings/ When a taranling changes it was before the true need to mimic ponies, so their forms cant copy someone else, it will always be a form that resembles them, say if you want to be a pony, its a pony version of you, that's all you can do.
