Design Description

A red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple mane and tail that's frizzy and a bit worn out from excessive amounts of flying accompanied with a full light blue coat of fur all over her body, her furs a bit harsher than other pony's but it's still comfortable, she has a strong pair of wings with soft, delicate feathers, magenta eyes, and a totally awesome cutie mark that is a rainbow-colored lightning bolt.

Detailed Personality

Rainbow Dash is an egotistic, arrogant, and ambitious pony. She thinks she’s cooler than everypony else and isn’t afraid to show that part of herself off, she loves to brag about her achievements and is pretty devoted to her interests. She doesn’t like to take the boring way out in any scenario, she is always looking for a cooler way to end things off. She thinks she’s cooler than everypony else and isn’t afraid to show that part of herself off, she loves to brag about her achievements and is pretty devoted to her interests. She doesn’t like to take the boring way out in any scenario, she is always looking for a cooler way to end things off. She’s the self acclaimed best flier in all of Equestria and she isn’t afraid to take up anypony who’s asking for a race, in the air or on the ground. She’s a very competitive pony and takes not being in first place very seriously, she’ll go at any length to win and sometimes that gets in her own way.

She’s physically fit and very confident in herself, she’ll do anything in a flash if it means getting to show off. Her confidence sometimes helps out with her acts of heroism, however she’ll criticize anypony else who tries to show off. Rainbow Dash is a hypocrite, though she’d never admit to that. She’s brash and has no problem making fun of others, including her friends. She’s a prankster and loves to joke around, but she can also be oftentimes sarcastic even if it’s not called for.

Despite Rainbow Dash’s general personality, she is extremely loyal to her friends and would never do anything that would break that trust. She always puts her friends first, even if that means before herself. She is not a pegasus somepony would wanna mess with when it comes to her friends, she’d do anything for them. She’s also rather a softie, though you didn’t hear that from her. She has her own insecurities that she hides behind her overconfident public personality, such as a fear of being too feminine or too fragile. Rainbow Dash does her best to keep her reputation consistent, but there are some slip ups in this area as she enjoys hanging out at the spa, showing affection to her pet Tank, and being afraid of the paranormal (real or fake).

She’s also a bookworm, though she only half hides this part of her. Her love for Daring Do is too strong for her to keep to herself, but she avoids being open about any other interest in books. Her passion for literacy, more specifically towards Daring Do, has led her down many adventures as well as arguments.

Bow Hothoof and Windy Whistles were the only parents of Rainbow Dash, who was born in Cloudsdale.

Rainbow Dash lived alone in the Cloudominium before she adopted Tank. She never had siblings, even though she lived with her parents as a foal. As a pegasus she is able to fly, interact with clouds as if they were physical objects, and alter the weather. But outside of her pegasus abilities, she is also physically fit and athletic. She’s a fast runner (as well as flier), she can perform a Sonic Rainboom which was previously considered impossible, she’s a combatant, and she knows martial arts.
