Detailed History
Leo was a human named Gabriel, but was one day warped to Equestria as a pegasus pony with his brother Jacob now Sketch Pad. Applejack adopted him in exchange for work. He keeps his human-origins in secret by going under the name-tag of his mysterious bucket hat, 'Leonardo Oliver Osborn'. But also because it is cool.
