The childhood of Matte Highlight was rather uneventful. Grew up in the suburbs, great life, mommy and daddy divorced, it was the biggest shake of his life. But other than that, life was a piece of freaking cake. He got bullied a little in high school because he wanted to be prettier than all the girls. And succeeded at it. Young Matte knew he didn't feel right in his boyish clothes and boyish attitude. He wanted to be fabulous. He constantly raided his sisters closet and stole makeup from his babysitter. He mastered makeup young, earning his cutiemark after slipping his babysitter some sleeping pills in her soda, and rifling through her makeup bag, giving himself a full makeover. As he grew up, he knew what he wanted to be. He wanted to be the most fabulous pony on the planet, with beauty to rival Princess Celestia herself. He started getting surgeries, calling himself by female pronouns, and created a drag persona known as "Cat-Eye Karma". Karma dances at a local back alley drag club called "Club Rouge." They have drag nights with different themes, and Karma is always the show stopper. A complete bitch to the other queens, Karma is popular, but not well liked. Known for her temper and her extreme ambition, she is not afraid to fight other queens over small things. Perhaps even take it farther...
