Hey everyone! It's June 6th!
And it's 2019! That makes today the 75th anniversary of D-day, which took place in the early morning hours of June 6th, 1944, on a stormy as heck day. Remember the brave soldiers who fought on this day, during the massive invasion to take back France and the rest of Europe from the *Nazis and the **Fascists! Remember them all! It was a combined effort of multiple countries to do it all, so I'm sure many of you can salute your country's flag for the soldiers who took part.
Remember folks, respect your war veterans and servicemen and women! They've probably seen a lifetime's worth more S-word than you'll most likely ever see.
*The Nazis were the bad Germans
**The Fascists were the bad Italians

My great grandfather was one of the first to step foot on that beach. Him and another were the only survivors. That being said on the opposite side my other great grandfather was fighting for the axis. I don’t know if he shot at my great grandfather or now

depends on the country your other great grandfather was in, but besides that I salute the one who stepped on the beach and I respect both of them for their service, even if one was in the armies of the enemy

No the other guy who survived is someone I don’t know. My other great grandfather was probably shooting at them since he was German
