I find the 5.56 AK concept strange. Unless you are working with all 100% AK internals, just re-bored for 5.56. What is the point. Because you lose the abuse-ability and reliability of an AK, because now you have a round that operates at much higher bore pressures with thinner tolerances.

5.45 has better trajectory it shoots flatter, and has less recoil impluse. Most aks with muzzle breaks for 5.45 are complete overkill. 5.45 also has tonnes of cool rounds for punching through BP vests.
