Hey everyone, I'm alive!! It's come to my attention that Barney looks a bit too much like Kyle MacLahlan, and he might have subconsciously been based on his character in Blue Velvet a bit. I had the realization very recently. Idk if that helps anyone, but there you go, I guess.
