Meet CALLFORTH! Thaumaturgy's second born brother/sibling. He's basically the bachelor type, not really interested in relationships or kids but loves women and showing off. His cutie mark was gained when he learned that he had the ability to hear spells when they were performed. Not the aura, which is always audible to anyone, but the name of the spell! He thought that this was totally normal until he brought it up to his parents when he was younger and then they realized that that is definitely not something that should happen. So for example if someone is casting or about to cast teleportation on themselves to go somewhere, he can hear that the teleportation spell is being performed as if it were the audible aura of a normal spell. It's heard in a radius around him, and this applies to all spells and objects that can perform spells, like a diviners orb, or a staff. This also works for spells that are not performed near him but the spell ends up near him like if someone is teleporting to land around him. It sounds like Google maps in his head, essentially. Example 2: thaumaturgy's teleporting home, where he also happens to be. He would hear the spell, not when it is performed as thaumaturgy would be in an entirely different location, but right before he's inside the house, after the spell is performed. This sounds overpowered at first until you realize that he can't turn it off and he's hearing various spells around him all the time, every single time. He can also hear his own spells, so when he's at home or outside he has to wear earmuffs. Because it's something that he can perceive that other beings normally wouldn't be able to, it doesn't deafen him, but can be very overwhelming, very fast, and it can block out other sounds. He learned to tune it out, but otherwise it's something that is a constant circumstance around him.
