Gil has rather poor social skills when it comes to interacting with the general public. Coupled with a morbid sense of humor along with OCD he prefers either working alone or with his collogues when out in the field. When on the job he strives to keep everything in perfect order, from his kit down to the smallest piece of evidence collected.Despite his glaring lack of social skills he can empathize with others quite well, especially those affected by the cases he works.

Having lost his father in an accident at age five, Gil was raised solely by his mother. After witnessing his close friend pass away he decided to become a criminalist to try and help others get a sense of closure that he never got. With a newfound determination he put himself through Las Pegasus University and earned a Bachelors Degree in forensic science.
