Blood's soft voice echoed across the interior. He finished his sentence as the demon trotted through the unnerving building. The rest of the plant-like constructs were noticeably non-hostile, not even paying attention to the intruder. He was allowed to approach without resistance. Sure enough, his voice was not any sort of trick, there he was on his high throne, in the flesh. "...did you miss me?" he smiled, his eyes opening sharply and widely, expression looking disturbed and deranged for a moment before his gaze grew soft. "I missed you. It took so much just to get you to say a couple of words back there, but they confirmed everything with gusto. So happy to have you back around..." he stroked his chest a little, despite there being no wound. As if the death of one of his spawn left a mark on his souls. "...Red..." With a slow nod of his head, he rose, his cloak attaching itself to his body, sticking onto him and tightening until it was that form-fitting suit once more. "I see the look you're giving me. So determined and harsh. I take it you're still seething over my wake-up call~?" he let the last few words dance out in a jingle out of his mouth, his face growing more smug than genuine. It was rather off-putting seeing someone speak so casually in an environment like this. "That's so like you." Somehow it seemed like he was almost talking to somebody else entirely. However, there may or may not be much time for that thought to roll about one's brain, seeing as the pale stallion began smoothly descending the stairs leading to his throne, almost looking like he was gliding, his slithering tail only adding to the illusion. His intentions... unknown. Not just based on the fact of what he had done to the other pale-coated pony, but rather, he was literally unreadable. He gave off a warm, welcoming vibe, yet, everything about him screamed danger, his demeanor both figuratively and a little literally resembling a scorpion sneaking up on its prey, ready to strike at any moment.

Gabriel really seemed to be completely lost when it came to his past, and he intended to fix that. "Rather than igniting another bout of bloodshed, could I interest you in an offer for coming all this way? Something you don't... know you want?" he proposed, sounding as genuine as he could. He then continued without even awaiting for a proper answer. "I will repeat myself once more, you are Red. You are the Hellraiser. A relic of the... old world, let's just say. A demon of the underworld, if I am correct. You and I were too complicated to be merely called 'enemies' or 'friends', much like our respective realms. Quite... tense relations, but nevertheless, quite close regardless." his words carried a heavy nostalgic tone to them, too real and reminiscent to be fiction and lies. "You mentioned Angels as well, didn't you? I seem to recall you having some relation to at least one in the past, and, call me a stalker if you will, but I see you are repeating the cycle in this new life as well." he quirked his eyebrow and gauged for a reaction before turning his back on him and taking a few steps away, apparently trusting him enough to do so. "...regardless, we've battled in the past, and I am sure we shall continue once again. Not for particular achievements, but rather, it is... in a way, I'd say, our native tongue. You are not the only one I've seen in this 'remade' state, I fear. But I do not believe that interests you." Blood took a while to recollect himself, then once again turned to face him. "Between the two of us, the black blood connects us, and so do souls. Although judging by your current state, and my ceaseless and continuous consciousness, I can conclude you're lacking." Of course, a little verbal jab at the end. This will surely end well.
