If you want to try to get them at your local comic shops, call them and ask for a specific issue number or describe the comic in question to the best of your ability so that they can search their database to see if they have it in stock.

Also, if the issue you're looking for is special edition or a limited printing, you may not find them in local comic stores and may have to turn to buying them off collectors or online specialty stores.
