Cally is actually a very good and sweet pony when she can be, she absolutely loves helping everyone she can doing what they need. Even if she can get a little out of line with her sarcasm and odd humour. Cally Ber was born in a Ponyville hospital to a Pegasus mother and Earth father but didn't spend another second there. Her mother was a constant traveler due to her delivery service, so she spent time with her father as a filly. View MoreCally Ber was born in a Ponyville hospital to a Pegasus mother and Earth father but didn't spend another second there. Her mother was a constant traveler due to her delivery service, so she spent time with her father as a filly. She discovered the joy of off-road adventure and even picking up soccer, winning trophies (small but significant to her). Her father actually gave her her first system, a PonyStation 1, and a surfing game as her first game then a Wagon Racing game. One night she was taken up by her mom and was told she was going to stay with her from now on. So Cally lived about a year on a train going place to place, coming quickly into the fan base of the hardcore gamer with all the time she had. Her education was homeschooling during this time, so she wasn't the smartest filly but a good test taker. She settled down in some small town off the Everfree after a while, meeting her first stepfather.

In this short time is where she first discovered weaponry and first handled small arms. Her stepfather had a shotgun she didn't and still doesn't remember what it was exactly, but she did try her hoof at her mom's 1911 for self-defense. The feeling and smell stole her senses for the better, the carbon smell and that shock of adrenaline were life. Every time her stepdad came back she would go hunt for his shells and make a collection according to pellets. One night she was forced awake by a gunshot, police sirens, and two ponies fighting. That night her mom and she quickly left to leave back on the train for her aunt and uncle in Ponyville, once there time flew as she switched from them to her grandmother, another uncle, and too many foalsitters to count along.

Whilst staying with her family she received news that her dad died on Hearts and Hooves day due to a heart clog. A stepdad somewhere on the Equestrian shore island went by and came to a special stepdad in Ponyville. He was an Earth pony who spent some years in the Equestrian Army as an Anti-Flyer Gunner and Artillery. This is where she had a desire to join the Equestrian Army, so from the near end of Elementary School, she studied military science. Learning its activities, the knowledge required, travel, and especially it's fighting force. She was also really excited to actually stay in one school for as long as she did which got her to get friends. Due to this constant study, she had weird curves in good to bad ways with her education. She became the best reader, story writer, and comic maker, but this led to her being a target to her classmates. Throughout half of her Elementary School, she had constant fights and threats to her and from her. Fighting became survival for her. She picked up Foal Karate and then Tae Kwon Do, which helped her a lot. It twisted to where she had the power, and with this, she became the bully. She went to a couple of different schools with this mindset that as long as no one could hurt her, she'll enforce it with fear. Towards the end of Elementary, she was hit with some constant sadness in her, scared off, and being mean to her friends even. She quickly switched to doing her best to turn that aggression down, even doing her best to make friends with the people she bullied. Making a few then more friends in the process. She became friendlier even though she couldn't help but lash out sometimes, pushing back that depression.

Middle School came and she enjoyed life for once in a long time, moving up to Combat Hapkido in martial arts as well. Sadly by this time she still had no cutie mark, Cally was kinda hoping it was drawing or creativity from her stories and drawing. After a while, she gave that up though since she actually had friends to spend time with. Middle School flew by and came the first year of high school, which of course she immediately went to the JROTC (Junior Reserve Officers Training Course) this one actually happened to be based on the Equestrian Army. Cally even had a birthday gift that was a high-powered pellet rifle, which became her passion. Something was wrong though, knowing that she was quickly going down the food chain due to her friends, her JROTC, and especially being blank flank really got to her. It seemed like every course was harder and harder, weighing her down with the inclusion of what bad things ponies told her. She did her best to hold herself back, smile, be happy and joke around. She was called many things from this, hyper, random, happy, awkward, boring, stupid, and weak. Sitting at home in her room she thought about these things and could barely contain herself, she grabbed her rifle and loaded a hunting pellet. Shoved the barrel in her mouth and turned off the safety, her wingtip on the trigger applying slight force. The older filly screamed as words flew through her head like family, love, dreams, and being better. Cally threw the rifle at the ground, being reborn as a new pony.

First-year flew by with excellence in her JROTC and a few promotions due to recommendations, ignoring the jeers and using them to prove ponies wrong. During the summer she took a few special junior military courses, one was based on the Equestrian Army Rangers. It was the worst week of her life, but her military knowledge and survival increased drastically. Finally came something she never heard of, The Equestrian Marine Corps. Cally went to a two-month junior military camp and in this she learned everything she ever needed, drill, survival, knowledge, history, future, teamwork, family, endurance, overcoming fear, and most importantly rifles. Every day she looked forward to paintball and rifle shooting. One day on the range while zeroing in she finally got a black center, which also came with a sudden silence and flash. Curious she looked around and noticed that ponies were looking at her flank which made her embarrassed and angry, but when she looked she saw her cutie mark. Graduation flew by and so did her new choice of the EMC (Equestrian Marine Corps). At the beginning of her second year came another divorce and of course another move, to Appleloosa this time. For the next couple of years, she improved in the accuracy of her rifle, physical endurance, gaming, of course, more JROTC even though it's Equestrian Flyer Force, and even became an officer in it, mechanics along with early graduation from school.

She was recruited into the Equestrian Marine Corps and did her time with Ordnance which lead to learning more about Ordnance disposal, after a couple of deployments and drunk blackouts she did a year of the castle guard, then finally a heavy weapons wagon crew member. After 6 years she left as a Corporal, and moving MOS wasn't exactly good for promotion. Her friend's Dogtag forever is with her on her bracelet. Once those years passed she now lives her life happily set in Ponyville, a career in Active Reserve. She's going to Full Sail University to produce music and music management, and a side job at the Down Range nature supply store. However, the music soon became criminal justice. Her heart changed course to law enforcement and she immediately went to work for Ponyville Guard, some years flew by as she did her best to help her community by working nights in the worst parts of town. Once she met her requirements, she went to work for the Equestrian Rangers, one of the best detectives in major crimes in the country.
