I prefer using dice, especially for combat, to ensure fairness and add some nice RP twists.* No one-liners. I'm not against those who make very short responses. But when role playing with me, please write at least a couple / few sentences. Otherwise, to be blunt, the role play gets boring because I can't provide the quality responses I want to for you.* No god-modding / power playing. You cannot control Lovinity nor what happens to her. If you want to do something that impacts Lovinity (such as attacking her), use "attempt" language rather than guaranteeing an outcome. I roll dice to determine if Lovinity is impacted, no exceptions. Also, Lovinity is not invincible, and neither are you.* No meta-gaming. Do not assume that knowledge of the RP discussed out-of-character is known by our characters in role play. Do not expect that our original RP plans will be entirely followed; I like when RPs take their own natural paths. But you as an RPer have the right to say no / stop if it goes on a path you don't like. And so do I.* No second-person ("you") responses. Please use first person ("I") or third person ("he/she/they"). Asterisk responses are also okay, though I don't prefer them. This falls in line with not controlling Lovinity; second person responses are essentially controlling her. Instead of saying something like "You smell the flowers", say "there are fragrant flowers next to Lovinity."* Only retcon (forcefully change things about the RP in the middle of it) when absolutely necessary, and we must all agree to it. For example, if we "brick" the role play such that it cannot progress without conflicting plots or details (e.g. the logic of such collapses), then retconning is acceptable. Bare minimal, just the way Lovinity likes it. She doesn't wear any special clothing, armor, or the like, or have anything fancy about her. Her color scheme is also very basic. She does own a pair of red horseshoes as she has sensitive hooves. But that's about it.Her mane though, yeah, good luck brushing that pretzel twist in the morning!

She tries her best to show love to others, though sometimes the poor nature of others can get in the way of her goal. She believes even the worst of people can change if they were given the love and attention they need to realize what they are doing. This mindset has enabled her to do some very touching things for others, but it has also gotten her into a lot of trouble.Violence is never the answer to resolving conflict in her eyes. She believes instead in rehabilitation and reformation.**Socializing**Lovinity is generally shy and timid around new ponies, but she is happy to open up to others once she feels comfortable with them. She loves helping others in any way she can, usually by means of providing for them in sensory, practical ways, such as affection or making them something.**Protection**Lovinity doesn't exhibit much of a need to defend those she cares about from evil, especially considering she doesn't really have the resources to do so. She believes in letting others make their own decisions, even if those decisions could be dangerous for themselves. However, she will express her concern if she feels somepony is planning on making a decision that may be bad. And she may even try to do things to convince them away from that path.**Love of Nature**Lovinity loves nature; it is one of her favorite things. She loves trotting through gardens, smelling the flowers, looking at the bees and butterflies, and taking in all the senses around her. She also enjoys trotting through forests and woods, or relaxing on a beach. She also loves being outside in the rain. Rain feels very cleansing and rejuvenating to her.**Coping with Stress**Lovinity gets stressed easily because she picks up on the emotions of those around her. For this reason, she meditates on a regular basis to help calm herself down. She also enjoys meditating with others and sharing her techniques to help others calm down and become more aware of themselves.**Writing / Singing**Lovinity enjoys expressing pony nature and emotions in creative ways through writing or singing. You'll sometimes find her humming or singing something out loud, especially when she is by herself. Usually, her songs are upbeat and peppy/cheerful, but sometimes they can hit deep in the emotions or even be cryptic in nature. Lovinity has written a few of her own songs as well.**Flirting**Lovinity can be a flirty little daredevil sometimes and loves when kind, genuine ponies flirt with her. She does not, however, like it when somepony with poor intent flirts with her. And just because she flirts back does not necessarily mean she has romantic interest; flirting is in her nature and she flirts even with her friends. It is one of her ways to show appreciation, to make others feel good, and to become more comfortable and open with others.**Affection**Lovinity loves, sometimes even craves, physical affection. Affection and quality time are her love languages. When somepony hugs her in their grasp and tenderly appreciates her for who she is, Lovinity will absolutely melt, and perhaps even neigh. Lovinity also loves giving affection to others, especially those who are not at their best. Friends are precious to Lovinity. And she gets a bit motherly / nurturing when she sees a loved one not feeling well. She loves offering hugs or cuddles of comfort for those who need it.

### FAMILY ###Lovinity was born of the "Hearts" family. View More### FAMILY ###Lovinity was born of the "Hearts" family. Although her family is much bigger, the ponies mentioned in this backstory are the only ones who are, or were, in contact with her regularly and/or have an integral part in who she is. Lovinity primarily focuses on companionship.**Mother: Liza Hearts**She was born of her parents, Liza Hearts and Passion Flower, both Canterlot natives. Liza is her mother, and she represents medical love / love of health. She is a very intelligent, wealthy, and strong-minded unicorn with a passion for helping those who are sick. She is a medical technician who specializes in disease research. Lovinity no longer has contact with her unfortunately because her father (Passion Flower) and Liza separated. Liza moved far away to an unknown location in Equestria (or maybe beyond) to continue her research and studies.Lovinity admired her Mom for her smarts, her level-headedness, and how she always seemed to smile no matter what she was doing or where she was. She always felt better when she was around her.**Father: Passion Flower**Passion Flower is her father. His primary form of love is passionate love. He is a very determined, passionate unicorn with strong goals and the motto of "never give up" and "trying and failing is better than never trying at all". He can be stern and intimidating, especially given his royal guard history. But he isn't as tough/mean as he appears. In fact, he's a softy on the inside and loves discussing passions and emotions with other people. Despite his never give up attitude, Passion sometimes struggles with the feeling of wanting to give up himself.Lovinity also admires her Dad and looks up to him as a source of inspiration, especially when she feels like giving up. Sometimes, her Dad and she have to distance themselves just for a bit when her Dad is feeling down. This is more because of her Dad’s nature of “toughing it out” and does not prefer to receive help or support from others unless absolutely necessary. Lovinity really wishes her Dad was more open to letting her support him in his worst of times.**Aunt: Princess Harmony**Lovinity also is very close to her aunt, Princess Harmony, who represents spiritual love (not to be confused with religion). Princess Harmony is a Reiki Master and Life Coach Alicorn who taught Lovinity the meditation and Chakra skills she uses today. Princess Harmony has been there for Lovinity ever since she was born, giving her spiritual support and helping her find who she is as a pony. They also like to share lots of jokes and humor.(Side note: In Lovinity's Reiki Master timeline, Princess Harmony passed away; Marenipulate weakened her spirits over the course of several years, and then Hazardous Hearts ultimately took advantage of her vulnerability and destroyed her)**Cousin: Miss Kumquat**Lovinity has a fun and crazy unicorn cousin named Miss Kumquat, who represents love of nature and animals. Miss Kumquat lives on a large farm and grows various fruits and vegetables. She also has a few horses, sheep, dogs, cats... iguanas, turtles, parrots, bunnies, a fox, an otter, hamsters, guinea pigs, and several rescue animals. Good thing she has a large farm, amirite? Miss Kumquat has a very strong southern accent and enjoys tending to her farm and cooking. Although her unicorn horn is broken and thus she cannot use magic, some say she possesses a powerful magic within herself caring for animals. Fluttershy would be proud! Sadly, they have yet to ever meet.Lovinity enjoys spending time with Miss Kumquat because her extroverted and energetic personality is endearing to Lovinity. When around Miss Kumquat, Lovinity feels more upbeat and energetic. She also loves seeing all the cute animals on her farm.**Uncle: Hazardous Hearts**Lovinity has an uncle that she tries to avoid when possible named Hazardous Hearts. "Hazard" as he is otherwise known represents love of the self, or selfish love, and as the representation suggests, is not a good unicorn in nature. He believes in "take everything that you can because Equestria is survival of the fittest... kill or be killed". He has been known to engage in crime and has been arrested a few times. He has a big horn which also means his magic is quite powerful. Some say it can rival an Alicorn's magic, but it's not quite that strong. It is enough for most ponies to avoid him and for Alicorns to be cautious.Lovinity has destined never to be like him.**Second Cousin: Marenipulate**Lovinity has a second cousin whom she tries to avoid but unfortunately has periodic encounters. Marenipulate represents love of power and control. She is a very manipulative unicorn who loves to get into people’s heads and mess around. It brings her a sense of having power over her life when she can manipulate others to her will.Marenipulate was not always like this, however. When she was a filly, she used to be the one person who always shared kindness to others. Her downfall was she shared kindness even to those who wanted to use her, and she did not stand up for herself. A massive bullying incident caused all her friends to turn against her, leaving her betrayed and broken. She felt like she lost complete control of her life. And therefore, out of lifelong revenge, she turned to becoming the bully by dedicating her life to achieving power and control over others.Marenipulate is a bit different in that she is not a physical being (anymore). She is a figment of one's mind... a hallucination... a vision. Therefore, others cannot physically interact with her nor can she physically interact with them. But she can play tricks by making others see things that aren't there. Marenipulate's weakness, however, is a strong mind. If a pony refuses to believe what they are seeing is true, and truly believes it is all just an illusion, then the illusion is broken.Lovinity had a few encounters with Marenipulate, a couple of which sent Lovinity down a rabbit hole of depression and loss of self-identity. Thanks to her family and friends though, she overcame those times. But that doesn't mean Marenipulate doesn't keep trying to mess with her.### BACKSTORY ###**Pre-Birth**Lovinity was born of her father, Passion Flower, and her mother, Liza Hearts. Passion was a rather lonesome stallion who did not interact much in his early years. His focus was on his studies to be a guards-stallion for Canterlot. He applied several times, but was continuously rejected because he was not wealthy like the other Canterlot ponies. The rejections got to him and demotivated him from trying anymore.It wasn’t until he met his special somepony, Liza, who would help change his outlook on life. Liza was an adorable level-headed unicorn who also kept to herself for the most part and focused intensely on her medical research studies. She wanted to be a laboratory technician and help develop cures for diseases. When Passion entered her life, she let loose and opened up more socially with her own peers and family. And when Liza entered Passion's life, he felt an overwhelming admiration for her and her values, helping to solidify his own motto of “never give up”.The two fell in love and had a very happy and fulfilling relationship. Passion finally got accepted through his determination to be a guard for Canterlot, being one of if not the only non-wealthy stallion to be accepted as a Canterlot guard (or so he thinks, but the truth is they might have accepted him because Liza was wealthy, thus classifying him under the same status by virtue of marriage), and Liza was hired as a medical technician in Canterlot as well.**Birth**Liza shared a core spiritual belief that resonated with Passion forever more: Spirit is love, and love is limitless. And through their shared love, they had a foal and named her Lovinity, which was a combination of the words “divine”, “infinite”, and “love”.**Foal-hood / filly-hood**Lovinity lived a mostly average filly-hood with Passion and Liza, though Liza’s research had her away from home quite often. Therefore, Lovinity spent more time with Passion. She quickly grew into the Hearts family’s motto of love. And she spread much kindness and friendship to her peers. Unfortunately, this did open her up to several instances of other fillies / colts bullying her and taking advantage of her kindness; she did not yet know how to stand up for herself. But Passion, especially with his new guard training background, taught Lovinity how to be tough, but kind at the same time. Lovinity was not too fond of the tough part; she wanted to be the gentle type of person. But she did become more assertive vocally after listening to her dad. And as she grew into her filly teen years, her peers respected her more and knew not to take her kindness for granted.**Princess Harmony**Passion, Liza, and Lovinity regularly visited Princess Harmony and were very close to her. She was an older mare/princess who, despite having trouble getting around, had a strong sense of intuition and wisdom. She also had a great sense of humor and was very resourceful.When Lovinity entered her filly years, Princess Harmony had a discussion with her about starting her journey into self-discovery (and thus earning her cutie mark): finding who she was, what form of love she represented in the Hearts family, and what Oath she was going to take. She would also have to learn a new ability pertaining to her Oath. Lovinity understood, and they began the workshopping process. At first, Lovinity was set on solely friendship love, being friends with everypony, including her enemies, for love was the answer to defeating all hate and evil. She believed strongly that the bad ponies in the world were only bad because they didn’t have love; they needed love to see the light. Princess Harmony was impressed by her wisdom but cautioned her of the danger that she could face doing that. Lovinity insisted.**Departure of Liza Hearts**As Lovinity entered her mid filly years, Liza was offered a lucrative education and position at a secret medical research facility in Equestria that she could not pass up; it was her dream job. Unfortunately, this meant Liza had to move and would have minimal contact with the rest of the Hearts family from then on. It was a bittersweet departure that impacted Passion more than it seemed to impact Lovinity.As time went on and Lovinity headed towards her later filly years, Passion fell into a depression, losing sight of his own motto of never giving up and being determined. He quit working as a Canterlot guard (although again, some say the real story is that he was fired since Liza, the wealthy one, was no longer in his life) and went to basic Canterlot and Ponyville security. He struggled to be optimistic for Lovinity especially when she was going through her own tough times. But Lovinity was there for him, and the duo were close.**Lovinity's Own Struggle**But Lovinity would find herself struggling as well in her later filly years. She was struggling to find her sense of identity in Equestria despite somewhat knowing where she was regarding love. There were no Oaths within the family she could take pertaining specifically to unconditional friendship love except one for general kindness (which sounded amazing, but was not exactly what Lovinity felt on the inside of her being), and one for romantic love (Lovinity had not yet discovered romance, but she would about to, unknown to her). And she still, therefore, did not have her cutie mark.Princess Harmony suggested starting to meditate. Up until this point, Lovinity did not know much about meditation. Princess Harmony suggested using meditation as a way for Lovinity to go within herself to find the answers she was seeking. She trained Lovinity on some of the basic skills to meditate. And Lovinity started using meditation regularly. While the answers she wanted did not immediately come to her, meditation kept her stress down and helped her stay optimistic.**First Encounters with Marenipulate**While Lovinity struggled to find her true sense of identity and purpose in the universe, her second cousin Marenipulate frequently made appearances with Lovinity. Marenipulate had a bad past of her own as a filly as she was similar to Lovinity: kind and compassionate to everyone she met. But unlike Lovinity, she did not have anypony like Passion to teach her how to be kind and assertive. Others took advantage of her, and eventually everypony she cared about turned against her. Now, Marenipulate lives a life focused on self power and control.Marenipulate was aware of some of Lovinity’s struggles. She tried to convince Lovinity to abandon the whole kindness and love ordeal especially considering how it turned out for herself. Marenipulate was smart in that she would visit Lovinity during her most vulnerable moments, when she was sad, lost, or depressed, and acted like she was taking on the role of a nurturing mother. For a short time, Marenipulate was successful in “corrupting” Lovinity. She gave up on her pathway towards love and instead focused on… simply not caring about anything. She abandoned her friends and most activities in which she normally participated. And she really lost touch with herself, seemingly emotionally unstable and resistant to support from others. Princess Harmony and Passion eventually snapped her out of it, Princess Harmony reminding her of her value and worth in Equestria, and Passion reminding her that no matter what, she must not give up on her dreams. Future attempts for Marenipulate to “re-corrupt” Lovinity after that point have been unsuccessful.**First Love**Lovinity would find herself falling in love with another Pegasus who had similar love values as Lovinity’s, though she focused more on romantic love. The two of them at first were inseparable, infatuated with each other dearly and regularly spending time with each other. But the other pony started quickly fading away from contact until she stopped responding all-together. Lovinity was crushed by this for a while, but she also had a strong peer system which helped keep her head held high.This experience grew Lovinity’s understanding of love. Despite the other pony fading from contact, that did not change the fact Lovinity still had a place for her in her heart. She still loved the other pony and hoped she was okay. Perhaps friendship love was too limiting for Lovinity as a focus.**Other Relationships**Throughout Lovinity’s remaining filly years and into the start of her mare years, she has tried a few other relationships. But every time she tried a relationship, Lovinity felt restricted, like she couldn’t truly spread her love and closeness to other ponies when she was in a relationship with somepony. This upset her greatly, especially considering she found herself more than once in a dilemma where she loved more than one pony but was committed to one of them. She decided at the time that relationships were not for her; she was going to stay single so she could love anypony and everypony she wanted whenever she wanted.**Family Oath**Lovinity brought this discovery of love to her aunt, Princess Harmony, as well as mentioning that maybe some sort of Oath regarding healing would be nice. Lovinity would find much pleasure in being able to support and love someone to the point it heals them. This gave Princess Harmony an idea: Reiki.Princess Harmony presented the Oath of Companionship to Lovinity, an oath where a pony swears by being kind and loving to others whenever possible, especially to those who are lonely or in need of a companion, and guiding the evil ones on a path towards a brighter future. Unlike the Oath of Friendship, the Oath of Companionship had a more affectionate approach and was not limited to friendship love. Companionship could be friendship, helping others in need, giving affection and comfort to the lonely, or even showing others what it's like to feel love. And unlike the Oath of Compassion, which was focused more on doing good deeds, the Oath of Companionship was more focused on connecting with other ponies on an emotional and spiritual level. She then mentioned Reiki healing, that unlike medical healing (which only targets the physical body), Reiki healing was more spiritual. It targeted core areas of one’s sense of self and their connection with Equestria. Lovinity accepted the Oath and gave Princess Harmony her commitment to learning how to be a Reiki Practitioner.**Cutie Mark**Before leaving Princess Harmony's place that faithful day, Princess Harmony guided Lovinity on a powerful meditation. In that meditation, Lovinity was asked little by little to imagine her love energy being controlled by the volume knob of one of those fancy stereo things they saw DJ Pon / Vinyl Scratch taking to a wedding once. It was a bit out of the ordinary for Lovinity at first, but she got the hang of it. Little by little, she cranked up the volume of her love energy, imagining the love she had for others spreading out further and further as a dome. Finally, Princess Harmony instructed her to crank it as high as it could go. Lovinity kept cranking and cranking, but the volume knob wouldn't stop. Her love energy kept expanding further and further out into infinity. And then it dawned on her: her name... Lovinity... infinite love. That's who she is! She will spread unconditional limitless love to everypony in Equestria. It was at this moment her cutie mark appeared, a red heart with a golden infinity symbol below it. Princess Harmony celebrated with Lovinity. And Lovinity felt an overwhelming sense of love and self identity.**Re-location**Shortly after that faithful day she earned her Cutie Mark, Lovinity had a conversation with Passion. Passion mentioned that she was all grown up now. And it was time for her to disembark on her own adventures. In other words, it was best for Lovinity's destiny to live on her own now instead of with Passion in Canterlot. But Passion offered for her to stay a bit longer if she needed more time. Lovinity was a bit scared, but she understood. Passion and Lovinity thought carefully about the best place for her to live. And considering her destiny, they decided the Crystal Empire was the place to be as a pony of love. That way, Lovinity could get all the love energy she could ever need to spread to other ponies via the Royal Couple (Princess Cadance and Shining Armor) and the Crystal Heart, although later to their dismay they realized that, since Lovinity was born in Canterlot and therefore not a Crystal Pony, she could not actually harness the energy from the Crystal Heart. However, that didn't put her down too much, for she realized how much love was spread among the Crystal Ponies there. And that was enough to keep her "fueled". Furthermore, this put Lovinity at an advantage should the Crystal Heart ever come into jeopardy again and the energy of the Crystal Ponies drained, for Lovinity would not be drained with them. It would be funny to see how a Pegasus would do fighting though. At least, she reasoned, she could fly to Canterlot or something to alert the Sisters of an attack.--- The "Reiki Practitioner" timeline cuts off here; lore beyond this point is only applicable to the "Reiki Master" timeline ---(WIP)

Ponies will feel more confident in themselves, more hopeful, and less worried when this Chakra is activated.Heart Chakra (green) - Heart. Responsible for love and compassion. Ponies will feel more compassionate and will feel more loved and appreciated by others and Equestriaverse when this Chakra is activated.Throat Chakra (blue) - Throat. Responsible for communication. If the pony has been struggling to communicate about something, they will feel those barriers lift when this Chakra is activated.Third Eye Chakra (violet) - Between the eyes. Responsible for intuition. Ponies will have a stronger intuition and a sense of what is to come in the future when this Chakra is activated.Crown Chakra (white) - Above the head, like a halo / crown. Responsible for divine connection with Equestria. Ponies will feel more connected and one with everypony else, everything living, and Equestria / beyond when this Chakra is activated. It is the most powerful of the 7 Chakras. This Chakra cannot be activated without magic, so Lovinity's Pegasus timeline cannot work with this one.

However, using spells drains Lovinity's energy significantly (especially Crown Chakra which will usually make her pass out for a while). Therefore because of that, and because Lovinity is reluctant to use magic in general, she rarely uses it (but most Alicorns rarely use magic anyways).
