Design Description

An athletic pony, with a lean body shape and square features. Gazer's left frontal hoof, wing and part of his head present a severe scar left during an explosion, happened during the evacuation of a orbital colony during what will be remembered as "the black day".

When around, he tend to wear his Republican uniform, but in his apartment he only keep a shirt on.

Detailed Personality

Before his incident, Star Gazer was way more open and social, but after the Black Day, and almost loosing his own life, he became more quieter, harsh and at times even irascible.

This was one of the causes that made his ex-wife call for a divorce, and nota easy one, making him even more close and almost as an hermit.

Fortunately, the Republic and his job keeps him busy, and this is all he ask for, hanging out with the few friend he have for movie nights and some beers.

Like almost any pony of Nix, Star Gazer received a normal education at the Nix's Space Navigation Academy, not getting in touch with mathematics and other stuff that required numbers, but demonstrating a natural ability for piloting and maneuvering, abilites that, for a pegasus, should be required.

His love for historical documents, especially about Equestria, sometimes makes him look like a nerd. A nerd that may punch you in the face.

Born on Nyx, the capital of the New Lunar Republic, since it was little more than a foal Star Gazer has always dreamed of furrowing the space, riding that sea of darkness illuminated by a thousand lights, visiting distant planets and being involved in extraordinary adventures.

However, his dreams had to wait many years, while the Republic was trying hard to form, with the ponies of the former colonies of the Cog industries finally free and the application of a new form of government after almost 400 years from Exodus, excluding the whole story before the Cataclysm. At 21, after a long training at the Aerospace Flight Academy in the capital of the still alive Equestrian Monarchy, Neo Sol, the pegasus was able to graduate with optimal grades, and becoming a captain in the forces of the Republic, which was increasingly becoming an important military and defense force, with which he traded troops and battleships with food and supplies.

Seven years later, in the midst of a promising career, the entire Equestrian Union was upset by a series of attacks by a group of mysterious and highly technological terrorists: Neo Sol was heavily bombed, Nyx lost two colonies and countless orbital stations were shaved to the ground.

One of these, however, was lucky.

Given the general warning signal, Gazer and his team were ready to rescue as many equestrians as possible, but while they were ending, the terrorists attacked, burning the station and killing thousands of innocents... and marking the pegasus on most of the body .

After many very painful surgeries, and a slow recovery, Gazer could return home, or better, what was left of it. Although the worst was over, and the terrorists had been identified as an old enemy of the Union thought extinct many centuries ago, the pegasus never recovered.

He had become shy, hermetic, and spent much more time in orbit than on dry land.

And now, with his job nearing its end, Gazer is little more than a hermit, except for a few days spent with members of his old team and sailing times on behalf of the Republic.
