Story So Far:

Equestria, a land holding both the brightest of magicks and the darkest of villains, a land constantly shrouded in darkness only to be pushed back by the light, a safe haven as well as a beacon of trouble. The land of Equestria is many things in one, it is the home to the Unicorns, Pegasi, and Earth Ponies, a trinity represented by magic, the elements of weather, and the very earth itself. Citizens under the rule of the Alicorns, a hybrid of all three of the races, the land experienced many different periods of piece with the occasional occurrence of the evil and the wicked to rise, but fall to the light of friendship. Nightmare Moon, Discord, Sombra, Sirens, and many more terrifying creatures have faced off against the great nation only to fall and their plans foiled. That was a common precedent, a running gag, something taken for granted. Soon, a new evil arose and with it came a torrent of trouble. Soon, the nation of Equestria was under fire and now embroiled within the flames of war. Fighting upon three fronts, the ponies were thrust into a fight for their lives. Each day the war went on, ponies were injured or worst captured and territories were taken or annexed. Canterlot now stands as the last bastion of hope and safety for ponies to live. Pegasi cities are act as military bases and the frontline within the war. The Status of the Crystal Empire is currently unknown as communications were recently cut off from the Empire. Pushed into a corner, Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, Princess Cadence, along with the Bearers of the Elements decided to use a spell forged by the great Star Swirl the Bearded. A spell to call upon heroes destined to aid in the defense of ponykind if the nation was ever threatened. The spell was never truly tested and Star Swirl died before the spell could even be finished.

A desperate last act, they cast the spell and from it ponies from the more peaceful days before the war are dragged to the future. Upon their body a tattoo can be found, a glowing blue tattoo of an hourglass. While one is unable to tell what this means, one thing is simple, creature that now stands in the middle of the summoning circle. Know this well, your destiny has begun and with it comes dangers...

Will you awaken and stand to rise to the challenge and save Equestria? Or is all doomed and you along with the rest of ponykind?

More will be revealed in Equestria's Reborn Champions!

Factions:

Up ahead you'll face the three factions that undermine the very foundations of peace that Equestria has stood for, what you do to stop their aggression and fighting will be up to you. Good luck, champion!

Faction Of The North: The Lost Wraiths Of Frost

Ancient spirits long dead and possessed by the eternal grip of cold death, these ancient titans that control the frost and ice lead a group of dead frost pony wraiths. With every pony that dies upon their cold grip and hellish tundras are added to their numbers. A legion of dead souls that seek to freeze Equestria over and leave no life untouched. Their creed, all with join with the ice. Frozen is their hearts and ruthless is their coming, think twice before you mock the mountains and their cold air, there just might be something watching and waiting. Eternally on the lookout for the flames to die down and their icy presence to take you.

Strengths: Hard to Kill and Disable - Numbers are always growing - No Discernable Way to Track Them

Weaknesses: Slow Expansionist - Found Only In Cold Areas - Deterred By Fire

-----------------

Faction Of The East: Shadows

Erupting from the ground, these creatures made purely of darkness are obsessed with one thing, the destruction of the ponies. Driven to hide in caves and their ever growing tunnel systems, these foul creatures corrupt anything they touch and inhabit and perverting it into shadow materials to fuel their ever growing war machine. Vicious even to their own brethren, these warriors have no room in their ranks for weakness. Woe to the foolish champion that seeks which hides and thrives in the darkness. They believe the land is their eternal right and all those that stand in their way are nothing more then sacks of meat they counter with weapons cursed and unholy.

Strengths: Warbound: Always Looking For A Fight - Bodies Shift and Morph to Compensate and Adapt to New Environments - The Corrupted Land They Control Are Extensions of their Will

Weaknesses: Weakened and Avoid Lit Areas - Most Shadows are mindless and not independent thinkers - Innovation is something they lack

----------------

Faction Of The West: Beasts Of Blood

Born of Blood and Undone by Blood, ponies who dabbled within the dark arts were banished or executed. Centuries later, the descendants of the Old Blooded Ponies have come to claim the purest of crimson life forces. They attack through bleeding their enemies dry and infecting sources of nutrients with their cursed disease. Ponies now once more fear the blood that makes and destroys, for who can topple a foe that exists as one's own primal instincts.

Strengths: Brute Force is their forte, a weapon kept in spades - Animalistic and senses are greatly heightened - Natural born Hunters

Weaknesses: The Blood Has Eroded Their Minds and Common Sense - Weak Depending on Lunar Cycles

----------

With every champion who enters, state your name and history...

All heroes are to be remembered regardless of whether they completed their journey or not.

Come! Let the Fight For Equestria Begin!

//I'm interested. I'll post some history.

//Once a pony hiding in the Everfree Forest and Whitetail Woods, Orion Pink is now a pony willing to do whatever he can to help others, and has proven multiple times that he will help. He has experience with battles and has helped save Equestria a couple times before Equestria's current need of champions, but in his life lays dark corners that have affected him, and a couple events ponies described as amnesia.

//Now, he is ready to fight the threat that's trying to take over, and is willing to do whatever he can to take them down.

//I hope this is good enough

//Woop woop time to redo this again but on a new site! Time to use everyone's favorite chaotic warrior!

Defined Entropy

History: Defined is as not normal as a unicorn comes, he indulges in the magic of chaos. He has practiced this form of magic and has become rather proficient at it. He can shape his terrain, summon different items (for a time) and overall make a battle disorganized and chaotic. But this has known to backfire rather often and can blow up in his own face (literally.) He usually keeps to himself, but the ones that do know him usually can't get him to shut up, so woe be to whoever he works with...their ears shall bleed!

//alright. Thank you. I'll try to do well.

Orion would wake up somewhere in Canterlot, feeling kind of groggy and sighing to himself. He gets up and walked a few feet to his left to pick up a used but well cleaned silver sword, something that he had for a long time. He grabs it and with some rope in his pocket, ties it safely to his side, and looked around for a bit, ready for whatever is thrown at him.

When this Orion awoke, he found that he was now in Canterlot though it looked much more different. The once pristine buildings were now boarded up as guards woukd travel back and forth. Either across the sky or upon the ground, guards seemed to be rushing all over the place. Normal pony citizens could be seen traveling through the streets though these ponies looked poor and ragged and traveled in giant masses through the streets.

The Guard gave Orion a look before simply saying, "I have no time for your jokes, citizen. Everypony knows that us guards have to constantly rotate positions to deal with problems. It's the only way Canterlot has even lasted this long, through constant vigilance which you are getting in the way of. I suggest you go and get back into your home."

Hm. You know what? Count me in.

Star Catcher

History: Star Catcher hails from Butterfly Island, a tropical paradise to the East of Equestria that the Pegasi had established as a land base proceeding the conflict between pony tribes. Butterfly Island is, to the pegasus ponies, a promised land of sorts; at the time of the war, there was no way for unicorns or earth ponies to safely travel out to sea far enough to find the island, and any pony who was brave enough to venture forth and lucky enough to travel in the right direction found themselves drifting away from the island, as pegasi above controlled the winds and could prevent the would-be invaders from ever touching down upon the shore.

When the war ended, and Equestria was founded, the ships stopped. Pegasi came across the ocean to let their kin know that peace had been made, and there was no need for further hostilities. The mainland was safe once again. Many of the pegasi took the opportunity to migrate back to the mainland, but a small faction broke off as a pegasi colony; the land was bountiful enough that earth pony hooves were not needed to cultivate. In time, Butterfly Island became more and more secluded, as only a select few Pegasi even bothered to remember and keep track of its existance.

Without the rest of Equestria, the Pegasi of Butterfly Island adopted a tribal-like culture. Stories of the Horned Ones and the Stronghoofs were passed down from generations, as the ponies of the island lived together to make a fair living in harmony with the land.

Star Catcher's gift to her people is insight. With a glance, she can discern a pony's demeanor, if a pony is under a particularly strong emotion, she can sense why, within reason. Star is a sympathetic mare, and one who tries to help everyone she meets, but strong enough emotions, or a wish made in one's heart with no selfish intent can drive her to act to grant the deepest desires of the pony's heart.

Defined groaned loudly as he too started to awaken. He rubbed his head a bit with his hoof muttering curses under his breath "Son of a...ah last time I accept a drink from that jerk again." He stopped once he realized that he wasn't in the bar anymore...or his home.

Once he fully got up he made sure to make his make orderly looking before he looked around with a curious look "Where am I?" He muttered under his breath

Alright! Everything seems to check out! Join in anytime! From what I can see, you can practically wake up anywhere in Canterlot. So, take a stab at where your character wakes up, Star Catcher!

---------

Defined found that he was on top of a circle of magic of some sort. A summoning circle to be specific as in front of him stood a collection of Princesses and ponies. Walking forward, a troop of guards would remain close as Celestia said, "Hello, I am Princess Celestia. Who might you be, Champion?"

There would be much whispering amongst the guards about this pony as some of them didn't think he looked like much at all.

-------

Orion soon found that the streets were populated with ragged ponies who looked like they hadn't slept in days. Many more would be entering the city by the masses as the ponies were lead by guards to places where they could live temporarily.

As most ponies were huddled away in their homes, with only the guards and the Princesses actively doing their rounds, it was easy to miss the blue shine that had appeared in an alleyway, the alabaster pegasus appearing amidst a few pieces of rubble from the nearby buildings. Clearly, the capital of Equestria had seen better days. She'd been taken in her sleep, the summoning magic smoothly transitioning her from the warm leaves and sandy beaches of the island she came from to the dusty pavement in front of an abandoned Saddle-Arabian themed restaurant.

Slowly the magic faded away, the mare's ears perking as she caught a commotion off in the distance. Her eyes opened, the mare lifting her head as she glanced about, squinting, the mare quickly entering a state of full alert when she realized she was no longer on Butterfly Island. Her ears pinned back, the mare's wings quivering as she crouched down into a low profile, looking up at the restaurant buildings that towered over her. Panic took over her mind, and she drew into a full gallop, out into the Canterlot Streets.

He sees the entrance and would try to hide, deciding that the best way to know what's going on is to try to get out of the city, and he didn't want to be spotted trying to leave. As he tried to hide, he looks around the area, trying to look for a place to leave unnoticed.

Orion would see what looked to be an old Saddle Arabian Themed Restrauant that was abandoned or supposedly abandoned as a strange Pegasus would run out of the said establishment.

Star Catcher found in front of her a very bleak sight as guards both battle hardened scarred were leading groups of ragged ponies into the city. Pegasi wearing worn and weathered gold armor would be flying above in the air looking down at the ponies on the ground. It must've been quite a change in environment for Star Catcher to witness.

Soon enough, Guards upon the wall nearby would ring an alarm that barked throughout the city. The guards looking after the approaching ponies would brandish weapons and yell for the ponies to enter the city quickly as an approaching army was found to be heading to this place to seige and attack the capital.

"Get to safety, citizens!" A guard yelled out wearing grey armor as a squad of pony soldiers would follow him to man the walls and prepare the defenses.

Defined looked up at the princess his mind kinda skipping a bit as he simply stared up at her for a minute or two. After this silence he shook his head and said with a rather polite tone "Ah Princess Celestia." He didn't bow or lower his head he simply talked "I've heard a great deal about you."

He looked around a bit before asking "So why am I here? Something tells me you didn't call me here to finally learn about me."

Princess Celestia nodded and said, "Right you are, my little pony. A great crisis threatens Equestria and it seems that the destiny of saving it now is thrust upon you--"

Before the Princess of Sunlight could continue, the alarm that rung throughout the city would reach the palace they were within. A contingent of guards ran in and yelled, "Princess! The enemy forces are approaching and advancing upon Canterlot! I suggest we have you evacuate to a safer area."

The Princess nodded before looking at Defined and said, "I assume this is a good time to see if you are up to the task?"

The mare stood there, eyes wide, as she ran out to a group of ponies being escorted by a small battalion of armored horses. In her panic, her mind hardly registered that she was looking at non-pegasi, as she stood there, all she could see was that the ponies being led into the city didn't look like prisoners of war, but many of them looked weary, hungry. She could hear the rhythmic hoofsteps of the ponies, the sound of mother quieting their foals.

Suddenly, a loud alarm sounded, the mare flinching back as she glanced toward the gates, the mare noticing as the ponies brandished blades and polearms alike, the mare only now noticing the faint glow of magic that held the weapons in place. "Horned One?" she whispered out loud, her question lost in the panic as the hoofbeats devolved into chaos, the mare leaping up into the sky with a powerful flap of her heavy wings as the supposed refugees stampeded in her general direction.
