Carmine wasn’t usually a fan of such a holiday- or any holiday, for that matter, but even he couldn’t deny the little kid inside of him that was eager to see what all the fuss for this carnival was about. If it was a flop, at least he had his chance at scoring some candy while he was out. He noticed that his choice of costume was... unique. Perhaps a little, if not very, unlike the groups of ghouls, skeletons and ghosts. No, his costume was an inflatable sunglasses emoji. The red stallion even completed the look by wearing a pair of sunglasses himself. Thankfully, the sunglasses had a secondary purpose: to hide the shame he felt after seeing the other fantastic costumes worn by the others. At least there was candy.

As Sky stuffed himself with food, he was perfectly content...until he saw something out of the corner of his eye, something that made him question every fiber of his being. Someone had the audacity to wear a frikken emoji as a costume. However they were beyond saving, Sky simply shaking his head in disapproval and returning to the food.
Xerox

Xerox had liked Nightmare Night as a concept, but felt that the actual festivities lacked the flair he imagined. He hadn't been introduced to Nightmare Night until later in his life, due to the sheltered lifestyle he was forced into. As a changeling, he could easily scare ponies by transforming into fantastical creatures. As he ambled behind structures around the carnival, he saw children enjoying the night. As well as adults joining in on the fun, he took a deep breath. Trying his best to be calm, he transformed into a large creature of his own design. A large, scaly creature, with a menacing maw of teeth. It lacked regular limbs, having instead legs similar to a centipede's, though less prehensile. Xerox crawled carefully toward the town, in hopes to join in, to make this year more memorable.
