The types of traditions the small healer partook in were far and few between, typically self-restricting to personal rituals and habits for the sake of privacy or solemnity. Except she found herself roped into a moderate gathering along a venue facing an open plains, joining in a mass sky lantern send off.
Her lantern lacked style or quality, shaping the craft just enough to be worthy of flight. Along the four sides were simple designs. A generic depiction of a flame on two opposing ends. On the others were what could only be described as an engraved cross stake with a spiraling base; on one cross appearing to be an attempt to include finer details along the vertical axis, but it was already terribly small from the likely intention of keeping it subtle and to herself, so it ended off as a cluster of ink.
She hesitated to free it from her grasp, letting it go after half a minute passed. It took flight without too much trouble despite gusts of winds threatening to send it to an early demise. In fact, there were several sky lanterns which plummeted as tiny fireballs because of the conditions. The Pegasi involved in the organization might have been overzealous with getting the weather right.
Little Leaf chose not to stick around for long, stepping away while her lantern remained in the air. It endured as one of the final survivors until inevitably running out of fuel, even managing to stubbornly float along for a moment without assistance.
