Tonight we celebrated Summer's eighteenth birthday here at Riverborn castle, It was the first time that we have ever celebrated anything outside of our old home deep within the Everfree forest.
Despite all of the wonderful lights, fireworks, culinary masterpieces and talented entertainers I felt homesick... I still do.
The Everfree will always be my home no matter what happens, Everfree Castle where i knew every secret passage way and nook and cranny still calls out to me in my dreams.
There were many strange Stallions who I had never seen or met before in my life, father told me that Summer had now come of age and that these ponies were her many different suitors, one of which she would have to marry...
I guess life for us has changed, I think I even saw Summer cry today, I miss our old home, At least my tenth birthday party is coming up in a month, i wonder what Mom and Dad have gotten me? Either way Lightning and Melody won't be able to call me Pipsqueak anymore since i will be all grown up!
