Old Style Lithium

Name: Lithium Sheen Age: late twenties /early thirties Gender: Female Orientation: heterosexual Personality: Lithium took an odd shift in personality to be strict rather then the generally whimsy kind of personalities her parents have. She felt that maybe none of them took anything seriously so she had to be the one to do it even at in her foal years. With her serious take in life she is seen to be very blunt and in most cases misunderstood . She's not a mean pony but given she made hardly smiles, she's assumed to be angry all the time. But the unicorn has a soft side and those that see through to it, they're held very close to her heart and she'll defend them with everything she has. In those soft times you may actually see this mare relax and maybe even honestly smile. With her need to be blunt though, even friends are not safe from her sudden flares of true anger if you happen to pull something truly reckless or dumb. She wasn't appointed her position as a royal guard teacher for nothing. History: Lithium grew up as the younger sibling of just two with adoring doting parents in Canterlot. It didn't take her long to seem rather alienated amongst other foals in school with her scary looking serious face and demeanor but that didn't mean she didn't excel. She gained friends here and there but often it was a bet another pony acted on to see how long they could handle her which only pushed lithium to grow that wall even bigger towards others . Her mind became very calculative and held back in compassion to see others through their ulterior motives . One friend stuck around in her younger years and it was this friend that brought about her push to gain her cutie mark. Lithium may have pushed many away but she isn't one to turn her cheek to those in need. And in need this friend was, being picked on went from just verbal abuse to one foal took it further and raised a rather thick stick at the poor mare. Lithium took to action with out a moments hesitation, her silvery horn flashed white and before that stick made contact it was cut down. The bully stood in shock to see the determined face of lithium, her glowing horn and a blade made from her magic hovering between them where the rest of the stick once was and now lays on the floor. Once the shock withered off, another flash of white light gave way to the new cutie mark on her flank. A pair of crossed blades which oddly enough made the mare smile in a moment of pride. She knew her true calling. Since that day she took to learning the ways of the blade which soon took on w bigger fascination which just about any weapon. It took her well into her adult years to get where she is now, as a form of weapons master but she didn't take the obvious route of becoming s guard. No she felt her true place to to teach others how to defend those who can't defend themselves. Starting off with a small class of her own making only to eventually find her strict teachings wanted by the royal guard of canterlot.
