Her family is into technology and they are very intelligent ponies, but when Alana was only 8, she was busy listening to music and dancing to it, not noticing a creature was about to attack her- then her grandmother pushed her out of the way and she fell of a cliff and into the bushes safely. She searched high and low for her grandmother, and realized she was gone- so she lost her colors and became gray due to sadness. She was now an orphan, living in the forest and isolated herself from other ponies for 9-12 years- until she met the main 6 and their colt versions. She’s now working to become a better pony and live a little bit better with the magic of friendship.
