A little rant, recently I upgraded my gaming rig, and added another GPU to SLI, with games no problem V-Sync works a treat, but any browsers except Microsoft Edge, doesn't work with SLI V-Sync, and that middle screen tear is getting on my nerves big time, so I checked on google, to see if I can find a way to force any web browser to V-Sync, but all I got was people complaining from back 2011 when GTX650Ti's had a large problem with screen tears with one card, so my only option is to ask people around, so far with no luck, does anyone knows how to force Chrome to work with SLI V-Sync? Note I tried everything in Geforce Control panel (Manage 3D Settings/ Program Settings) Nothing works, but games does.

Did you try turning on hardware acceleration in chrome?

I tried everything, it only goes away when I disable SLI bridging, which makes the GPU2 meaningless in the system. And sorry if picture is distracting, I can remove this post or picture, if it is inconvenient for you.

Nah, I meant that as a joke. Went ahead and edited the comment in case it came across as too mean. Anyway, not sure if I can help you then. I only have a single GPU system.

I'm a simple man. I see custom water cooling, I leave a like. Not sure about your issue, though. I've also been using SLI for a while now and haven't had any horrible screen tearing with Chrome. The issue goes away when you disable SLI?

Yes it goes away when SLI bridging mode is turned off, I have had SLI with 780Ti's before and never had this issue, only with these two 980Ti's

Is there an adaptive SLI mode?

There is, but it didn't work, but fixed after downgrading graphics driver by 3 versions 417.35 december 2018 build, a good friend of mine suggested as he was having the same issue with his 3x GTX980ti's
