Given the movie spree I've been on lately, I had to make this. I might have adored and looked up to the upper trope as a kid, especially in Disney movies, but now that I am the adult trying to give advice to some zoomers and they only want to be self-destructive I just can't.I enjoy how Spider-Man Homecoming's plot clearly painted Peter Parker as your typical over-eager teen with good intentions and a heart of gold, but an entire inability to trust the adults in the situation and understand that they were not only doing what was best for him but that they weren't obligated to tell him every darn thing.
