Finally got to call in a foot chase for the first time instead of joining. Drunk driver hit a family of 3 vehicle then started walking away, then when I started walking towards him (dude was about 20yds away) he began to run. Mfw I'm smiling hard as fuck as I say over radio "Charlie 75 on the ground westbound on (Street) coming up on (Street) from crash scene." Once I covered the ground he jumped into our nasty ass polluted river outlet river. Dude got me fucked up and thought right if thought I wouldn't follow. "Charlie 75 reduce (slow down cover to normal driving), he just jumped in the river and I ain't about it."My guy back peddled while staring at me until he crossed the river. A unit found him though after I said he's on the street across the river. MFW the second he started walking away
