Having just been released from the hospital Asuka would have thought she would have gone straight home, and straight to bed. The phone call she got 10 minutes after she got home caused a change of plans.

Now here she was, walking the streets of Vanhoover at night with her ex by her side (yet still a few feet away.) For the most part the two had been silent up until now. Despite the obvious tension neither of the two seemed to want to break the silence. Until now. Asuka spoke without turning her head.

"So. Why did you ask me to go to the park with you again?" Roy turns his head to respond. "Because I wanted to talk things over. I was hoping we could well... At least get back on 'being in the same room for more than 5 seconds' terms." Asuka rolls her eyes as the two enter Vanhoover Central Park. They find a place to sit, which just so happened to be at the nearby playground.

"And what makes you think I WANT to talk with you?" Asuka grumbles as she sways back and forth on the playground toy meant for children. "I know you don't Asuka. I just want to try." Once again Asuka's eyes roll. "Fine." For a moment there's a twinkle in Roy's eye. The following conversation consists of Roy attempting to make amends, and Asuka seeming to refuse any attempts to get her to look at him.

In the end the two end up sitting in silence until Asuka decides it's time to leave. With very little actually gained from the meeting both participants leave cold, annoyed, and a little hungry.
