The cold winds howled, as they so did lash the cheeks of those... less prepared. With the first frost of the incoming winter, the stallion unlike most seemed to be revitalized. With a grand stride he made his way through the forest, behind the darkness of the helm lurked cold blue eyes. The gaze chilled, even froze those who may have been caught in it as it seemed to pierce down to the very soul. With each step came the responding soft clink, and clunk of various plates and chainmail rubbing. Even with this heavy suit on, the stallion seemed bot phased by the mere thought of its weight. Unlike Equestrians, he was tall and very broad at the shoulders much like a plow stallion but if the work never ended.
The only accompaniment to his movement, was the occassional shimmer of white in the sky. To those with grand eyesight, they would notice it seemed to be nothing more than an adult snowy owl. A red ribbon and key seemed to adorn the neck, as well as a faintly glimmering name tag.
If the armor was not enough to weigh down our adventurer, upon his back was a set of well worn through saddle bags. The like of which whom have had seen many days and nights in lands afar. Tied neatly to his back, seemed to be a large ornate looking tower shield. But it seemed just as practical for a stallion of his stature as it was decorative. Carrying no visable weapons, vice the shield and what appeared to be a tome chained to his waist line aside from his size and armor he would not seem a threat.
But those eyes, oh how they seemingly ached to unearth whatever lay in the darkness. All it took was a single mistep, the stallion paused as a twig beneath his foot snapped. The once alive creatures fell with such great silence, a graveyard would seem to be a full symphony. The wandering figure paused, gazing to the trail ahead noting is potential mistake of luring one of the many creature of this forest toward him.

The snap of that twig echoed across the void forest. Dead leaves adorned both the ground and the branches of certain trees, although the vast majority retained their evergreen needles. For quite a while, the only sound was the rushing wind. But as the armor’s clinging came to a halt, another sound b... View More

And so the eyes did afix to something, just beyond the darkness. The veil would've blinded those not akin to himself, but alas the night was his suitor. Ears softly quivering to the hoofs approaching him, but yetbit was not charging. It didnt mirror the charge of a ravenous beast, nor some of the ra... View More
