There's no "types of Black's". There are types of grays, yes, but Black is reserved in it's own color. Black is black, not a "variant", cause at that point, it's just gray or very dark shades of normal colors

When it comes to artwork of ponies, there's many different 'Blacks' that can be used. It's important to realise that not one 'Black and Red' OC has been RICH BLACK, as that would be virtually unworkable. Henceforth, Pheonix is still Black and Red, and is one inverted cuboid.
