I got a genuine question for you guys. If I were to use an AI Image generator not for profit or replacing art or that crap, but for helping me get a better gage on good scenarios and Gmod/SFM pieces a... View More

Generally I'm fine with AI as long as people know it as such. Also most AI is obvious. They have a very specific look that makes you think "hm that's not right".
AI in the entertainment sector is weird because my issue is that it probably starts out like this but devolves to putting off genuine wor... View More

You will be blasted. The point isn’t whether you are making profit or not; the point is that AI uses intellectual property that was not rightfully obtained from those that created it.
The simple act of using AI is stealing from people who were robbed. You would in fact be using some other artist... View More

Honestly, I'd rather not steal others' artwork. I mean, I make my own! I was mostly just gonna use it to help gage some ideas, not... literally use it to make artwork out of stolen content.

Oh thank you! It's just kinda hard to gage ideas nowadays for SFM/Gmod pieces, that's why I was considering using AI to help get some ideas. But seeing as how it uses stolen artwork, i'm uhh... having second thoughts now ^^;

// Following up on Gray. Also keep in mind that it was ruled, at least in the United States and other western countries, that you cannot claim copyright on any content derived from AI. That means you don't own the AI art you generate at all. You have no intellectual rights to it no matter how many h... View More

Every and any AI model requires having used a particular data set to train and develop its algorithm. Most of which will be done by scraping anything that fits a particular criteria. Usually the training set is large and so simply grabs everything without prejudice. There are probably ethical models... View More

Yeah, that's why I was having second thoughts about using AI. I'd rather not have anyone blast me to bits for using artwork that was stolen from AI, and just rather do something original. Like what i'm about to produce rn! :D
