There's really no harm with playing a character at different ages. RP is basic story telling, and a story could be about someone now, then, and later. At least, that's how I view it.

But I'm asking.. is it possible to even do that? Like wouldn't it be a bit confusing roleplaying a character at different time periods often? I love both sides of the character equally, so I can't pick one I'd prefer to RP as.

There's always a way, just most times it's not simple. Could always have some sort of indication to hint which is going on. Some may not pick up on it, but one could be past tense and the other present tense.

I just don't think my OC as a whole would be approachable for people since they'd have to be able to pick if they'd prefer to roleplay with what timeline of my OC, then whatever my oc does in the past would definitely effect my ocs current self. :( ?

First off, I feel the "unrealistic made up age" is a shot at the age of a made up character. That's basically over thinking it in the first place.
Second, age is just a number. Maybe things change, maybe they don't. That'd be for you to figure out and decide. Like I said, I was just giving ideas.

There's nothing wrong with unrealistic ages, my oc Vex on this website is like 300 years old xd it's not rly over thinking, I'd assume characters with unrealistic ages age differently and like 15 years is actually 1 year via human years (or I guess pony for this case)
