I wouldn't agree entirely on that assumption, I've seen way more non-canon portrayals of canon characters than actual canon portrayals. It's like sonic OC's who're just recolors of the actual characters.

Tree Hugger is pretty cool. Definitely not a waifu choice for me, but she’s decent. I can see why you’d think she’s underrated. I feel that way about Juniper Montage and Sour Sweet, both two slept on waifu picks.
