I highly doubt it w... View More//You wanna know something that's really not fun? Running through apocalypse scenarios. I swear I heard something about this "challenge" or somesuch years ago from a YouTube video. I highly doubt it was required to be asleep or dreaming about it in order to run it through, and I don't think I can participate in this dream whenever I feel like it, but I've had it a few times since the idea was presented to me and I'm reeeeally not happy with its results this time. The basic concept is driving around my neighborhood, which always happens to be one of those rare, true-to-life dreamscapes that I'm really not used to, picking up and eliminating passengers that I want or don't want, and then leaving with them. Occasionally, these characters will attack for some, unpredictable circumstance as part of the "apocalypse" scenario, such as Fluttershy in this case, who I couldn't bring myself to kill, but after she attacked me, I still had to push her out of the car and leave her behind. But then she apologized.. And I treated her comically as any friend would when I couldn't close the door because her butt was stuck in it. I actually laughed about it and she apologized again, but then I left her behind anyway.. In this dream, I've also had to kill some childhood friends, pets and even myself as a child in this case. I saw my brother and I playing together on the street (as children) and I had to god damn run them over.. I don't even know why! It's all fun and games to begin with, because I know it's "just a game," "just a dream," but I always end up on my own in the end.. Every time I have this dream, it always ends the same. I return home alone (remember picking people up in the dream, even starting off with people with me occasionally) and find my dog in the backyard, only to kill them. Then I just wander through the empty streets and it really is harrowing.. I've woken up in tears before and it always is a relief to be back. But this one really messed with me.. It's like it gets worse every time. It sure felt good to write it all down though. ^^
