After releasing all her anger, Mina had been left with a heart of sadness, she uses this as inspiration to write a second poem, following a first about rain, hoping a more playful tone would help her to feel better.
Storm Cloud
One day I had a pet storm cloud
It was dark and thundery and really loud
I've been crying all day
Because my storm cloud just wouldn't go away
I tried to smile and be around my friends
But the thunderstorm would never end
I've been weeping all day
Because my storm cloud just wouldn't go away
To feel better, I went out for a treat
But the rain water made it impossible to eat
I've been sobbing all day
Because my storm cloud just wouldn't go away
I then attempted to go out and play
But it was so wet out, that I couldn't stay
I've been inside whining all day
Because my storm cloud just wouldn't go away
I tried to sleep and dream about cake
But the thunder and lightning kept keeping me awake
I have been wailing and screaming all day
Because my storm cloud would not go the fuck away
And then I felt something warm and kind
It dried my tears and eased my mind
When I looked up to see what brightened my day
The Sun came for me, I shouted "Hurrayy!!" ♡
He was smiling and cheering and what did he say?
"No more tears, miss Mina May"
I'm happy my Sun is here to stay
Because he made my storm cloud finally go away
